The most reputable ranking board is the Times Higher Education. It ranked UCC as 4th in Africa and best in West Africa in 2022. Though UCC did not participate in the 2023, the THE ranked the best research university. In Africa USA News ranks KNUST as the best. THE ranks KNUST as the most impactful in Africa in terms of course and curriculum structure. Great vlog.

I think you should research on reputable sources like the times higher education ranking rather listening other peoples opinions. Anyone who says KNUST or UG is the best in Ghana is rather sharing his or her opinion. They can't provide a single credible sources but UCC can and that's why is boldly written in their website and on screens billboards inside their campus.

My SHS was in Cape Coast and we usually break bounds to UCC. It's a dull and boring university. That's why I chose KNUST which blends academics with fun.

You didn’t even tour 1/10 of the school. University of Cape Coast is considerably difficult because it’s work work… learning and being focused. If you trail in 2 elective courses you will go home. Even if you are in level 400. In level 100 too you are put on probation. If you trail in comskills you will go home. Aside that if you trail in 2 courses you go home, you won’t be allowed to resist.

UCC is specialised in education . A lot teachers in Ghana graduated from UCC and KNUST and U G also specialized in other professions like law, administration , medicine and technology jobs . Each of these universities have what they do best and I can say that they are all good .

Knust has some nice architecture, but that legon LAYOUT, with their uniform white black red buildings, the greenery, the commonwealth hall architecture, on a hill etc is a beauty. Knust has bigger campus, is greener but it doesn't wow me with their 'haphazard' layout

The land Nkurumah built the university was taken from my family,mother side. No compensation was paid. They only left them small land in the middle of the university. The place is called Apew wo sika meaning you have make your money. In 1962,I was 11years and all my senior brothers and sisters were studying in overseas. Those of our family members were fishermen and farmers and they took advantage of them. I am planning to come to Ghana and take a legal action against the university. I don't need money but I want something like legacy type of system for the villages.

we support you. UCC has the biggest land among all the universities in Ghana if am right. over 8.5 kms. They have not been able to develop it well. Their buildings are spread haphazardly. Currently, the communities that gave the land to UCC have no benefits from the school located on their land. UCC has no respect to the people of Cape Coast and i think it's about time those in charge of the school must learn a lesson
