Jews may indeed be a holy people in the general sense, but as with any other people, every person is an individual responsible for their own actions, and will be judged individually by God. As the son is not responsible for the sins of the father, likewise, the group is not responsible for the sins of the individual. Nor is the individual responsible for the sins of the group. Of course we must try, but hate will never, and in deed can never be eliminated. Hate against fellow man is simply one single example of the many many ways sin manifests itself. The sad reality is that human beings are sinful by nature, and as long as human beings remain on this Earth, so too will hate remain, and so too will every other imaginable form of sin remain
