Scholarship is usually mentioned in the unconditional letter. Check yours, if it is a conditional letter or if it's an unconditional

No ,you don't have to apply individually for the scholarship. University gives scholarships on your unconditional letter if you are eligible for the scholarship. Placement year means you have to do an internship in your relevant field.
