My uncle was recently murdered a few days before these kids and if that wouldn’t have happened in our family I probably would’ve scrolled right past this thinking “wow another crime that’s sad” but now I see it in a whole different light. I’m so sorry to the family members of these kids. It is so heart breaking having someone u love viscously taken off the earth. Looking down into the grave before the casket goes in is such a surreal feeling and so so so heartbreaking. Condolences to everyone involved. :( Edit: wow you guys are so amazing and loving thank you so much😭😭I didn’t realize so many people replied to this I love you all💗I’ve come to realize how much this world is void of love we all really need to just love each other. I feel like the world is just getting so much worse and we need to combat that with more love, as cheesy as that sounds. ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

If there is not a ton of blood OUTSIDE the house that the killer would have left in his leaving then the killer either had time IN the house to clean up, which would leave DNA all over in the house (strongly indicating the killer knew the kids in the house) AND "defensive wounds" usually means the killers DNA. EITHER WAY, there is NO way the cops don't know who did this.

@@doubleseven1078defensive wounds means injuries received by the victim of an attack while trying to defend against the assailant. For example, the victim grabbing at the knife’s blade and getting cuts on their palms. It doesn’t usually mean they got the assailant’s DNA. However, the coroner said at least one of them fought for their life, which hopefully means they were able to get the m*rderer’s DNA under their nails or injured the m*rderer to the point where DNA was left behind. That said, if the m*rderer’s DNA and prints are not on record and is not a POI, any DNA/prints found at the scene is useless until the m*rderer is caught for something else, has a relative who submitted their DNA for heritage purposes, or becomes a POI.

@@doubleseven1078 You still have to have his DNA in Codis and if it's a young offender, probably someone they or 1 if them knew. This feels very personal, they were not raped or beat up, but stabbed to death, none the less, coz they were sleeping. One thing I do know, the killer us watching and following this and if he reads this, know he's a coward and a murderer of not just the 4 ppl he stabbed, but their families and friends too, some for a lifetime!

Fellow Brit here, sunny Manchester🙄, its utterly heartbreaking isn't it, and not the only case involving similar circumstances as I've noticed with America, one crime occurs and a rash of similar ones follow , like that on another university campus of 3 handsome young black men, promising professional football athletes that have also been brutally murdered by a fourth young man believed to be in retaliation for an embarrassing hazing event gone wrong. Tyrn another "family of five", 2 adults, 3 minors found in a home believed to be a murder suicide, and just days before that another family of four found dead in the home. Its very odd in America which I follow closely far more than my own country of Britain, how particularly heinous crimes that happen are immediately followed by a spate of several similar crimes.

@@truthhurts2879 I wanted to argue against your comment in a knee-jerk reaction, but after reading it several times, I can't. It's true. But I will say, we are a very sick society. And I mean that as "western society". The US is just a very large example of that. Social media has made people insane!! Or is it just people were always this insane and we just never realized it because we were much more isolated prior to everyone having cell phones and being able to feel a false sense of "connection"? We had to make the decision to remove the ventilator. I know what the families ate going through. It's going to be a long road and frustrating of not knowing why? The next mass shooting is around the corner, any day now. That is the new America, sadly. The laws protect the red flag people, and not the community. The rights of the one who is flagged as dangerous, out weights the rights of the many. Much more death and mass death to come every week until a true leader emerges to call this out and call for change and demonstrations.

One can only imagine it was the highest of high pitched screams because at least one had stab wounds of the hand which is defensive positioning and nobody batted an eye (the roommates) ? When they called hours later at noon to reports of someone unresponsive? The scene described as gruesome but called for someone unresponsive? No threat but have no weapon that was used? The odds of being caught are pretty good with our professional law enforcement, forensics, cameras, and now the FBI involved. Odds of justice are nearly zero, because Idaho does not carry out the death penalty, which this Walking Evil murderer richly deserves. I have no sympathy --ZERO -- for the sociopaths who inflict these crimes on our society. I would support torturing them before their execution, if it were possible. Enough of this assault on the rest of us.

Anyone who knew any of these four young people, who never got to experience life after school, but they were so close. They did all the work for it, and for him to cut them down at this point in their lives is extra cruel! If Bryan did this, I actually hope he gets the death penalty. I don’t usually want that, except for particularly rotten murderers.

Sadly, this very much reminds me of the terrible killings that occurred at UF by the mass Murderer, Danny Rollins, in the '80's. I was not living in Gainesville, FL, then, but I was still living in Florida. UF was my Alma Mater, and I knew all the areas mentioned in the news. It 💔 broke my heart. I was so glad when they finally apprehended the killer. A few years later, my late husband and I moved to Gainesville. Strangely, our landlord had owned one of the rental homes where one of the young women victims had been slaughtered. He had found her body, and the Murderer had partially, brutally, dismembered her. He was an older man, and he'd had a heart attack, when he had found her deceased. He had been asked by the police to check on her. She had not made it to work, and everyone was concerned. The murders had already begun, but at the time, they had not yet caught the Murderer. He told us all this, because my husband had been helping him with the roof. He wanted to explain why he was continuously urging my husband to lock the front door--even though they both were right there on the roof (I was grading my students' papers in the living room). Before he left, the Landlord watched the new owner next door put up a gate and fencing. I'll never forget what he said, "Fences don't keep people out." There had even been a locked gate--and a fence on the property he had owned. Another chilling thing was that the Gainseville Murderer also entered some of the areas by the sliding glass doors. We always wondered why our house's sliding door in back had been covered by wood. I do hope they find this recent killer quickly. I had heard that students withdrew from UF at that time. They were terrified. I don't know if that is true (so many leaving). It seemed to me it also happened before a holiday, also, one young male student was killed, the rest were women. Sorry 🙏 if I upset anyone. I was struck by the tiny similarities. I will pray for the families and the students--all of them.

The other friend in a grey hoodie on her phone smiling while she's standing there with a serious look on her face. Was she upset with her friend who was smiling in front of her while texting someone? Did she know something or feel possibly endangered but didn't wanna come out to her friend because she was talking to the suspect or because her being all upbeat would make her assume she'd not exercise her concern? Did the roommates find a weapon and do something with it in hopes of making it less traumatic on the family's? Could the attacker be one of the four victims who took their own life? All this could be why the name of caller wasn't shared and there isn't a suspect.

Harassing the investigators isn’t going to help them investigate. Among the things they are likely waiting on is DNA evidence. Hoping the 🤬 left some of their own blood. The girls arrived home after being seen on video at the food truck, ETA to the house was around 1:40 am. The (roughly 5 hours) is the timeframe between when they each had all last been seen alive by witnesses. A burglary seems pretty bold considering there were so many people inside the home? I’m wondering if the girls were the intended target, and were followed home? A knife attack is up close & personal. Did the killer intend to use it to threaten, and then someone witnessed him there & things escalated? How was the killer able to incapacitate 4 people without one of them not making some kind of noise? @@carolinecantelmo49 I know that's for sure. That's unfortunate as well. Got to be a bit scary too. I am in Florida we too have quite a lot of crime here too. Seems daily. I feel bad for any victim of a brutal crime and crime period. Be safe out there

Things might of been so different if that witness just checked on them after seeing and hearing what she heard 😢 could've saved a life but calling 911 so late is just very ODD

This is so heart-wrenching. Praying for the families to be comforted as best as can be. The kids were beautiful and had their entire future ahead of them and to be taken out like this is so disturbing. I hope they get the murderer soon and that person is punished to the full extent of the law. Rest in peace precious ones.

So sorry for the families who will have to spend the upcoming holidays grieving instead of celebrating. We live in such a sick world. It's just not fair to these kids who had their whole lives ahead of them. Praying they catch whoever did this & praying for those impacted.

It's just very sad and tragic. You just never know people's intentions. If you have a feeling of someone acting weird even if someone close...tell someone like your parents so others can keep an account of what's going on. Especially if it's a stalker....don't ever let them in.

My heart breaks for these young ones, their families and the communities. So tragic, they had such bright futures to look forward to. I've been following this from Australia and it is just so sad. I Pray they find answers and get justice for them. God Bless xo

Somethings giving me a neighbor vibe. I don’t know why. Maybe someone didn’t like young college students partying and being loud. They let the dog live. Believe it or not that is a clue. Chantel Bruno is my cousin who was murdered in New Bedford Massachusetts. She was stabbed 49 times by 2 men. They hated her so much that they even stabbed her a little dog Lolita. Her last dying breath was, save my puppy. The police ran upstairs to the third-floor and found Lolita and rushed her to the nearest St. Luke’s Hospital. Lolita survived the attack. My niece died right there at the scene. It took years for our family to get justice. Because of Covid things were put off and one defendant even had a hung jury. We couldn’t believe it. This is extremely sad. But the way they let the dog live., that’s very telling.

This seems like the work of an older, experienced killer not a young student. Unless they have killed before. Small Town, someone must have seen a stranger lurking around.
