University of Johannesburg Workers Strike

Numsa members decided to hand over their memorandum to vice chancellor Proffessor Tshilidzi Marwala but unfortunately he choose not to come,he send protection services management and other managers from other departments to come and collect the memorandum. Workers are crying about equal pay for the work of equal value, Sunday payments 1,5 and holiday 2,0 and there is another system which protection services management uses (harvesting) which you must come and work 5 days for free, and cleaners also come on Saturdays to work for free again they are saying workers are owing uj labor, but we don't know how.
