I still am finding it hard to understand how they placed second in this… they got robbed for sure. Not one person was off in this entire dance. Goosebumps!! ❤

LSU was good, but honestly I am confused how not one person has noticed/commented on the obvious fact that every single dancer was in ‘black face,’?! It was really uncomfortable to watch, personally.

I love how they seamlessly moved people around to spotlight everyone! Either in 3 second solo center stage or in groups of 2 or 3 moving complimentary. Everyone was important as a whole team! In the eyes of your audience- you WON, minnesota! You made us love dance!

TBH, I'm not a dancer AT ALL, and I noticed that. I noticed that not 1 person wasn't just as important as the next. It speaks VOLUMES about the amount of talent on that team! Everyone has to be extraordinary. Mediocrity does not produce these results.

Brilliant technique, precision, choreography; the whole package. What gave Ohio the win, in addition to their brilliant technique, precision and choreography, was the emotional level of the dancers, the story and the music.

The difference between this performance and Ohios performance is simply the energy and well, performance quality. UOFMs performance was stunning but in my opinion Ohio outperformed them, they had so much emotion. Another thing is that the dance world has always been tricks tricks tricks, but the movement quality is also so so important. Which Ohio had phenomenal movement quality this year and UOFM was very tricky. But, both teams were outstanding just that’s why i think they gave it to Ohio this year.

As an Neutral observer of both schools but a huge dance and music fan, I would hate to be a judge for this event. Both Lady Tigers and the Gopherettes were just amazing but overall presentation, I do have to lean towards LSU. U of M was extremely entertaining but the music and outfits chosen by LSU were just a little bit more lively. Like I said, this was hard to judge and I'm glad that I didn't have to decide for real. Congrats to both schools!!👏👏

Ohio won because their overall technique, choreography and storytelling were better. They weren't just spinning robots. Everyone always thinks the big jumps and tricks are going to get you there, but any seasoned dancer/coach/choreographer will tell you there is so much more too it.

i feel like minnesota focused to much on how many spins they could jam into the routine, their wasnt much dancing or choreography outside of the wonky arm movements they did in every 8 count. I mean technical wise it was amazing, but i feel like that is the risk you take some years, sometimes it pays off and sometimes it doesnt.

Finally a dance team with the talent to dance to REAL music. And not the silly old rap, hip-hop crap that has only a beat. Other dance teams should take notice. Real music instead of some rapper yammering about his miserable, crime ridden life.
