Awwww memories, memories & more memories ... Truthfully nothing seems to have changed even after 11 years of graduating except for the newly constructed building (Business School & Gate). It almost felt like I was back in 2009 and going for lectures, UNEC lacks maintenance and it's a shame it's produced prominent leaders yet nothing much has been done to maintain its glory and dignity. In all I still love to Roooaaaarrrrrr when I see or hear UNEC!!!! Thanks for doing this, I couldn't help but subscribe to see more of Enugu and its environs. 💕

Dimma and I were classmates; we were in the Banking and finance department in the faculty of business administration. He was actually the first recorded African billionaire. You can google him. He donated his Roll Royce to Chauffeur the Queen of England on her maiden visit to Nigeria. Think of an African owning Rolls Royce in his fleet of vehicles in the 1950s.

I actually thought that I've only seen UNEC from the road, but I actually went to that Church of Redemption for a program one day. This video jogged my memory 😄 They should also endeavor to maintain the buildings in general. For such a storied campus, it shouldn't have walls with peeling paint

Beautiful Chief, i noticed that ESUT permanent site at Agbani does not have any decent recent video in youtube. It will be an excellent vlog if you can go there and do a drive by and walk by video of the various building, hostels, staff quarters etc. Also you can hit Nigerian Law School Agbani on the same day as ESUT. Nsukka is a great university with a lot of history, but a point of correction --it's not the first indigenous college in Nigeria. The University of Ibadan is the first. It was built in 1948, and Chinua Achebe was among its first set of students.

UI wasnt an independent university unilt 1962, which comes after University of Nigeria. UI was more like a campus for Univeristu of London, hence UNN is the indigenous university in Nigeria. Structurally, UI could have been there before UNN, but not as an independent nigerian university. Hence the use of the term 'indigenous'

I can imagine how many others feel the same way which is why without good governance those struggling will always remain there.
