The University of Split was founded in 1974 and consists of eleven faculties, Academy of Arts, four University departments, and four University study divisions, with almost 20,000 students enrolled.
Scientific excellence, modern infrastructure, high student standard, dedicated staff, and Split as university city in the heart of Mediterranean, are just part of University’s stimulating work environment.
Through scientific research and collaborations on national and international projects, the University contributes to and strengthens knowledge for society’s general development.
