what are the rules for sticking stuff eg pictures on the walls that aren't the pinboard thing above the desk? I know you aren't allowed to use things like blue tac for obvious reasons but were people able to stick things like posters/prints/photos on the walls or around the mirror using other kinds of adhesives (e.g adhesive strips) or was that not allowed? - Thanks!!

you can use wall tape on the walls or pins on the bulletin board! as long as you don’t leave a mark on the walls it should be fine!

Hi! I noticed from google earth's imagery what appears to be abandoned railway tracks next to 'vega' students accomodation (behind 'atlas') Are trains running on those tracks? If yes, is noise an issue?

hey! yess there are train tracks running, it’s mostly an issue if you live on the lower floors in the rooms facing the tracks as some of my friends couldn’t really open their windows without it being super loud but it depends on which room you get 😅

it’s a self catered accommodation so we actually have a shared kitchen where you can cook your own meals! i also have a video showing how i cooked some of my meals in the video after this if it helps :)
