I just came across your channel looking for ideas for thin hair...at least I'm not alone! I paid WAY too much money for a real hair topper a year ago. It was gorgeous and soft in the beginning, now it's frizzy and split ended. Didn't think about that when I made my investment. Team synthetic! I haven't purchased another topper, trying to rock what I got, but you may have changed my mind a little ;-)

Is this a piece that can have a back band sewn into it, like the ones popular in glueless lace wigs?

It's a topper, so having a small base, I would say a band probably wouldn't be very effective. I have seen people glue toppers on, but that's not an option for me. The clips seem to do the trick if you have enough hair.

If you are used to wearing human hair, then it is a bit shiny, but the style stays perfect!...(unlike himan hair)

To get rid of the shine, rub some baby powder on the hair or spray some dry shampoo and brush out.
