I had a terrible experience with this exact topper. Mine arrived with no directions or care instructions or extra clips that other people seemed to get, but, worse, the halo wire was completely defective and was in the wrong place and was made inoperable because the wire looped completely around the bead, meaning that it would only tighten around the bead when pulled and wouldn't move otherwise. I struggled for weeks to figure it out, only to ultimately realize it was sent out in a detective state. I have always believed they sent me a returned item that was returned for being defective and that's why the topper didn't even have instructions. Unfortunately, by the time I realized it wasn't just me being dense about how to get the halo wire to work, it was too late to return it. I won't buy anything from Uniwigs again, especially after customer service hung up on me, and a subsequent message was never returned!

Hi Heather. Thanks for the question. Based on my understanding, the points do have a cash value. 100 points seems to equal $1. I hope this helps!
