Yes, National University of Timor-Leste (UNTL) is a government university. It is the largest public university in Timor-Leste and is funded by the government. As the primary institution for higher education in the country, it offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate programs, although it may not be as developed or internationally recognized as universities in other countries. The other two universities I mentioned, Dili Institute of Technology (DIT) and Instituto Superior Cristal, are private institutions and are not government-funded.

Tetum - One of the official and national languages, spoken and understood by about 60-65% of the population, either as a first or second language. 2. Portuguese - The other official language, reflecting Timor-Leste's colonial history under Portugal. Around 30-35% of the population speaks or understands Portuguese. 3. Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) - Timor-Leste was under Indonesian rule from 1975 to 1999, so many people still speak Indonesian, often as a second language. 4. Local/Indigenous Languages - There are around 30 indigenous languages spoken in various regions, including: Bunak Fataluku Mambai Makasae These local languages are the mother tongues for many people in different parts of the country.
