Yes! let me connect what you said with my take of the video: So let me talk about the law of attraction. If the person we're anxious about the whole trip, she might have just attracted disaster. What we feel, we attract. It is the law of attraction. When we have high vibrations, we reflect them back to the Universe. A major disaster just might have happened in an alternate universe but it didn't and everything was all well and good. It is like anxiety because what we usually fear that is going to happen doesn't happen most of the time, the fear is only in our head. You are safe. In the girl's case, she was blissfully unaware of the impending disaster but she was just chill and at peace so the Universe only reflected that back, and the Universe made things happen in whatever mysterious and mystical ways the Universe does her thing.

The visuals are damn near identical to Japanese pop art of the 80s. A time of incredible economic growth, optimism was higher than ever, and the feeling of happiness really shone through the art style. It wouldn’t stay however, as it turned out the economic growth was unsustainable, and the 90s led to one of Japan’s largest economic downturns ever. So this art style really hits home as incredibly nostalgic for that time for a lot of folks.
@KamenRaiden Жыл бұрын
I grew up in Japan in the 90's and got samples of some of the best the previous decade had to offer. Casiopea is a band that embodies that optimism and brightness you describe. The main difference is through the decades they've kept those sounds of comfort and happiness alive in their souls and in the sounds they create for the world. I'm very lucky to have had family that was into the creations of others

Sometimes, life can be great, like a storybook. Sometimes it can feel like there is a God in the sky looking out for you, making sure you never go through a hardship you can't surmount. Sometimes everything can go a beautiful way you could never have expected, but it did, and you get to feeling so thankful for it in turn. From a paranoid perspective, life does not have good things. But if there can be no good things in life, then why live? There will always be good things in life; this is an absolute truth. All that's left up to you is to go and find them, and if you can't find them, make them. Don't let the terror control you; the world might be terrible, but it is also the most wonderful, beautiful, magical place a human being could ever ask for.

I had lost 60 pounds due to illness, and I needed to change up my life so I quit my part-time job for an internship for a local sports talk show, where we had to travel all around my state, and this song is so strongly associated with that summer. the piano does such a good job at tempering the aggression and funk elements of this song and adds that feel of sincerity in the chord progression of the verse and bridge. Such a perfect touch! I can't say enough about how well this song was put together. Without a doubt, my favorite song of 2018!
@alanoneill30655 жыл бұрын
Me too..I saw him live at end of november..that was great also
@ryederz5 жыл бұрын
I totally agree & you nailed it with the expression "feel of sincerity". The voicing of the piano & the way it is recorded (distorted & panning) gives it a slightly sad, dreamy touch. If they would have banged out the chords with a fender rhodes on the 1 it would have been a totally different song (definitely less interesting). The whole thing is extremely well arranged & "solved", it's what it makes innovative and fresh & shows how much a clever arrangement & production can add to a song.

It's interesting how the music syncs with the video: a woman on a train, enjoying the natural beauty of life and towards the end a heavy object above her head that could fall at any moment. My take: So let me talk about the law of attraction. If the person were anxious the whole trip, she might have just attracted disaster.

I see this as a metafiction type of thing, where she is me, not reading the book, distracted by life as it passes her by from across the glass/screen/frame/window. It's the tragedy of my ambitions in a lot of ways because my desires are conflicted. So while I indulge in the view I lose myself from everything else - the responsibility, for example, that the band unknown mortal orchestra has towards their recievers - the selflessness they have to produce intelligent music - their devotion to the cerebral smog of conscientious quotidian life... Nuh I'm kidding, I don't know what any of that meant. I just took acid after reading Terry Eagleton. www.tumblr.com/dashboard
