Unknown Orbit - Painting with colored inks

Long cut video of me creating the colored ink artwork Unknown Orbit, which I made for my first solo show 'Out of This World'. I made a mistake in the face of the character since the masking fluid did not cover the face fully, hate when that happens! I managed to hide the mistake with some poster color.

Boring. The background is blue and the girl and her cat are both blue too. This would've been so much better if they were both complementary colours. Like yellow or orange or even pink

I disagree. I think it's anything but boring. It's beautiful and tells a story. If the girl and the cat would be in the complementary colours, they would take away from the stars and planets and wouldn't create a calming spot where the eyes can rest. Them also being a similar color to the background adds to the story. They look lost, searching or wandering in an new orbit. I also think you should learn to voice your opinion in a nicer way, the "boring" part is kind of unnecessary.
