in my experience, i have to plugin it to usb 3.0/3.1 (color blue) since my flash drive is 3.1 whenever i plugged it into usb 2.0(color black), that error appears. You might consider the type of flashdrive you are plugging in.

If still not working? try this SOLUTION it works for me ----->I bought an OTG (On-The-Go) USB adapter, connected the corrupted USB drive to it, and plugged it into my Android device. After that, my Android device detected the USB, and I proceeded to format the drive. note: Only for USB flash drive
