It had nothing to due with money or people being unhappy with his performance (I personally prefer him to Nolan) but it was rather scheduling conflicts with his work on Game on Thrones that led them to find to replace him.

When Bungie abandoned the original Destiny, I took that as a sign to quit. And I did. I’ve never played Destiny 2 and never will. It doesn’t matter if Activision forced Bungie to make a sequel. His voice shifts constantly between octaves, which makes him sound villainous and gives that unease. Dinklebot was the best, I still find it funny that people thought there was criticism, when they removed his lines I never found a person that was happy with the new lines and most everyone missed Dinklage and still do.
