Hi ! Yes, I find that Nurses Waiver disgusting! I am an RN here in Sydney ( NSW, Australia) for the last 37 years. We have proper pay here and conditions . I used to work in one hospital in Mkt in the Nursery Area many years ago , and that kind of being pushed to work on Rest Days without due considerations for your Mental Health and Physical well being and less pay is very inappropriate . Not good to know too , that up to now still exists in that particular hospital! Time to introduce new Changes and proper Protocols for the Best ! Thnx for Sharing your thoughts! Automatic over 12 hrs is double time. That’s what I have experienced here in US. You are not required to respond if you are off to come to work. They can ask but, if you cannot, then you can decline.

Share ko lng po yng experiemce ko way back 2006. Surgical ward.. 25 pt at my isang nka ventilator.. to cut it short d na ako pumasok d next day.. sbi ko sa head nirse at supervisor.. volunteer na nga lng ako dito tpus gnyan pa ipapagawa nyo sakin? Sana umasenso kayo sa buhay nyo.. fresh grad pa ako nyan nung 2005. 😂

In a perfect world yes. Hindi lahat sa US ganyan na sinasabi mo. Ganyan din naman sa US...Kung saan saan ka itapon ginagawa ka rin ngang tech if kulang staff. itapos kahit hndi naman un ang pinirmahan mo...minsan ung ratio hndi rin tama tapos isang bouquet ng high acuity patients ang mapapasayo... wala man silang pakialam. HINDI PO LAHAT SA US GANYAN NA SINASABI NYA...MADAMI DING TULAD NA TULAD SA PINAS... just giving you all the reality.
