Someone needs to give Brittney & Scott the link to the Encyclopaedia Metallum Metal Archives, the most comprehensive repository online for album info, including cover art credits! Great interview, they love their band & everything they're doing & it shows with each talk they give, can't wait for the new music next year & a new story! I love all of their covers, they put thought & care & attention to detail into the artwork design like they do into the lyrics, concepts, stories & song compositions. Missed a chance here to talk about Bo Bradshaw, the amazing artist who does their t-shirt/poster designs, although you did put his name up once & showcase a lot of his work for UTA. I'd argue that what he's done for the concept of the band is just as important as the creators of the album covers, & his unique style has put an unmistakable print on their image & how the music is interpreted. Hope you do a follow-up in 2024 to get the background on the new lp's art & talk about their history & partnership with Bo!

Agreed! Bo’s work for them is awesome. We ran out of time unfortunately, but talked about doing it all again next year, and have a really fun video planned with them so stay tuned for more UTA in 2024!

I already knew they were a bunch of nerds, but the process of the cover making just fascinated me! I definitely felt old school sci-fi and fantasy vibes from the art, especially Abyss and Apex, and knowing I was actually RIGHT, also right about their songs each following a story, boy, oh boy! I'm definitely beyond happy there's a band like that, talented, awesome, nerdy, even nerdier than I am and can't wait for their next masterpiece of an album to come out!

I really enjoyed this video! I loved learning about their creative process for writing their albums. I didn't know that Britney was the one writing most of the story! I assumed it was a more collaborative effort, but to hear that the Immortal Saga's storyline was mostly her idea is super cool. Imagine how amazing it would be to write your story and then to have awesome bandmates to help put it into epic song!

Unleash the archers is amazing when my dad died 4 years ago I was destroyed I worked with my dad he was my best friend and we lost him in the worst way imaginable. Abyss had just come out and it helped me keep moving I’m super grateful for their music.

Abyss art reminds me of being a kid in the school library and the librarian hands me Dragonriders of Pern, the artwork alone sucked me in and i read every book I could find in that universe

Apex and Abyss are the first albums that make me cry at every single song because the vibes just match the story so perfectly, and it all fits what I love and grew up reading, and miss now, so very much. Can't thank Unleash the Archers enough for reviving a piece of my soul, giving it place to come back to and roost.
