Does dry firing damage the blaster with the kit? You didn't remove the air restrictor.

Dry firing if done a lot will break but once or twice will not also dont remove the air restrictor it will decrease the life of the blaster and make it to if you dry fire it it will break.

Hey there fellas! I recently installed this kit, after purchasing it quite a few years ago. I did install the full kit with replacement breach etc on my Nstrike Alpha Trooper some years ago. I took out the trigger locks, though reinstalled the housing part, effectively just removing the spring and moving tooth. I’m really struggling to deprime either blaster, though the older, more modded version is better at doing so. Is it just the part of the trigger lock I’ve left in? Or is there something else about the Alpha Trooper that I’m overlooking?

Awesome thanks! I think I will have a harder time painting then modding it to be honest. Also, the elite version has the same mechanism than the orange or yellow version right?

Same as orange but not yellow. The yellow one is reverse plunger.

Leviality it's discontinued completely, however Nerf released a new Elite XD Alpha Trooper which is basically the Elite version but it is orange and comes with a stock. I heard the internals are slightly different (better) too.

Actually, i got an old Alpha Trooper kit. The old Trooper had a much larger plunger, and spring.
