25:30 that is a fairly easily recreatable ark bug in general, it's triggered by when a creature just spawns/gets summoned in and they take lots of damage really quickly, which just makes them disappear completely

Maybe for the next time you tame an Acro, what really worked for me when feeding it was running up to it and spamming E while also jumping, I guess the hitbox for the feed is a bit further up which is why I found more succes while jumping. Love your vids they are what keep me engaged to ark. Have a great day!

I tamed a ton recently, and what worked for me is to lure it to a flat area. When the ground is fairly flat I don't need to jump, but you I have to be basically in the mouth of it or a bit to the right of the head. But when I don't have time to position myself I just jump and spam E, because that technique works even if the ground is not perfectly flat.

Fun tip: Usage of a velonosaur (to maps with access with them) will more or less instantly get them ready to feed when in the stance

Another way to to tame Acros is using an ice wyvern and a small trap. It’s breath doesn’t do much damage only slows the acro down allowing you to easily feed it. Avoid using other wyverns as their power breaths will literally kill the Acro

@@MrLinkinJason Sure, I'll gladly give you the colors and regions. Region 0: 14, Region 1: 36, Region 4 & 5: 8. From what I can tell Region 2 & 3 don't show up. I worked for quite a bit trying to figure out what I wanted them to look like & I love how it turned out. I hope you enjoy it!

Personally I do this shotgun like syntac said but on foot, you’re usually decently faster than the acro at the point at which you would usually tame one, also uses less shots. On foot makes it easier to tame. You can always just fly or grapple away

If you fly backwards just above the acro with the two suit you can constantly shoot it without worrying about it hitting you and then just drop down when it’s roaring. Quick tip for next time :)

yea me and my friends had that exact problem where the savage acro just kinda vanishes around 75%-50% hp for no reason.. it was very annoying we ended up honestly just cheating it because it kept despawning and it wouldnt stop no matter where we did it on the map

The Sav Acro disappearing seems to be a thing that just happens on ARK sometimes, and not the first time I've seen it happen on one of your videos, it happened to the Dragon in that one arena with 3 bosses, and I recall it happened somewhere on Caballus as well. I've also had it happen to me, yesterday I saw a Giga and it just circled around a little hill on a mountain and it just blipped out of existence. Not sure what causes it, because that Giga was not really under attack.

I use the Creature Finder Deluxe mod, and because of that I noticed that the wild creatures have a property (can't remember the exact name) which tells how long the creature have been spawned in. And it seems if it's been in on the map for a long time the game despawns it for some reason. It happened to me so many times, when I am tracking down a creature, it just disappears when it's loaded in my view.

shotgun is nice, cause its a big target which makes it easy to hit with all the pellets. but whatever weapon, its really helpful if you can bring them to roar within one magazine. then you can reload while you run up to them to feed them. nice thing about their taming method, you can't screw up the effectiveness by shooting at them. and if you miss a feed, you can just use an owl to heal it back up. because of the drag weight thing, they are THE go to creature for master controller.

When I screw up and it's on low health, I lead them to creatures and help it to kill them. Eating corpses heals them up fast. But for that you need to be faster than the acro and tanky enough to take a few hit :D

I have been waiting so much for this Arco is my fav from ark adds As Gigas and Carchs can't get into boss fights these are a solid choice with rexes 2 Acros and 17 rexes with a yuty

The best part of taming these is that they snore in a horribly frightening way while they are knocked out. Much like how you'd imagine a Karen sleeps at home. If you have the additional emotes mod for dinos and can put them to sleep in your base. You get a horrifying nightmare of grumbling and snoring all day long. Plus they are a decent tame for the easier bosses even without Syntac-level mutations. The incoming damage is high enough to rage them and you can keep your personal one in defensive mode. (Passive mode auto-roar on a Yuty is only available in single player, so you'll probably be a Yuty instead on officials, a cluster or private server.)

u save bullets when using shotgun, tamed a 150 and it took 2 shots from ascendant shotgun whilst in defensive to get it to proc rage roar. Saves time and bullets

I always lure the Acro into a Metal Dino Gateframe trap. 6-9 gates are enough to make a circle+large bear traps. Also I recommend choosing flat ground.

You should’ve used lighting wyverns to tame them, just get the Acro to defense stance. And use exclusively lighting breaths. And since it has invincibility frames in adrenaline roar. There’s no risk of dealing extra damage to it and ruining effectiveness. So yeah so much resource saving. And if ur on a general flat area, u don’t need to be on the ground to reach its mouth. The back of the wyvern is conveniently perfect place to shove narcotics/bio toxin down the acros throat.

@@Arkraktor not really, the damage per tick is much lower then a high damage sniper rifle, as long as ur using a high level wyvern that’s stolen from the trench and isn’t mutated/bred. Also as soon as it goes to its adrenaline to goes invincible until the roar ends so… no extra damage done. And a lot less risky ^^ Also hi, love ur content❤️

@@Arkraktor fair, shotguns are the most effective way to deal damage/torpor to acros/brachis. But its just the last couple of hits can be scary xd. So yeah a shotgun and a normal fab-sniper can be a good combo
