A number of them were sold in Jamaica and even in the early 2000's one was tearing up our local drag trip and winning its class against much more modern cars. I can't believe it until I say it race for myself.

What always attracted me to the Torino, specially the 1970-1971, was the fact it kinda reminds me an Aussie Falcon XB seen from the side. Since that was never sold in the West, I always wanted to build a Mad Max-inspired car based on the Torino. I think it would look hella good.

I have always liked these more than the Mustang. One of Ford's best body style's. IMO, I wanted one when I was 15 and shopping for My first car. Ended up getting a 66 Galaxie w/ a 390 FE & that started My love affaire with those. Wish I still had all the old Ford's from My Youth. Also wish I had one of these to go with them. ❤

I had a 1967 SS 396 Chevelle and traded it for a 1970 Torino 429 Canary Yellow.

The 64-7 Fairlane was the same way … always in the shadow of the Mustang.

A new car cost less than $5000 at the time. So 150 for performance parts was not that cheap. My 390 ci was a fun car all in all.

Skip mustakes and torinos all together. Ugly. If you must go ford, falcon galaxy or fairlane. Cmon maan!!
