Java you can hit the same spot twice on a Ruin Guard to knock it down, you don't need to hit both the front and back. Also when it has a ring around its glowy bits, it can't be stunned.

i know this is probably just for fun, but for anyone wanting to try this at home: • barbara (c2) with thrilling tales might be better than kokomi as she can use 4pc millelith and her c2 increases hydro dmg by 15% during her skill duration • a 4pc vv swirl unit might be good as the final slot, or xiangling for pyro application

Millelith works much better on Kokomi because Barbara’s skill only hits once on cast so she will only give one instance of the buff which lasts for like 3 seconds. Kokomi’s skill hits consistently throughout it’s duration and is able to keep the buff up most of the time.

@@milka6828 i did a little test using kazuha's first NA , and the results are as shown below: NA1 before barbara E: 995 NA1 after barbara E: 1104 so it technically can work, but the key thing is to make sure barbara stands close to the enemy, since upon using her skill barbara's ring does a miniscule amount of hydro dmg

to consistently melt/vaporize an attack you need more application of the other element, so that the cryo/hydro/pyro aura stays on the enemy (e.g. if you want to consistently melt pyro attacks, use as much cryo as you can so that the enemy will have cryo on them for you to melt). in pyro qiqi's case, she is a fast normal attacker, so consistent cryo application is key; diona, ganyu and kazuha's burst (swirled cryo) should do the trick

It wouldn't. Melt takes away too many units of cryo. Reverse melt this would work, but melt + fast attacks= Reverse melts instead. ICU gets in the way, too.

You should take a look into Candingqiu. Candace enables Hydro DPS Xingqiu with her infusion, pair it with a Yunjin and a zhongli and you've got yourself one hell of a xingqiu dps.

So I think first applying pyro with Benny E, Kazuha swirl pyro, Diona E + Burst, Kazuha Burst to swirl Cryo, then Benny E and Qiqi attack. The order is a bit messy because swirls prioritize pyro, so there can’t be pyro when Kazuha bursts

Hey Java, just so you know, you can shoot the ruin hunter twice in the same eye to knock it down, no need to shoot it's back. Just shoot the front twice. ALSO, Ganyu's cryo application was better than diona's and honestly you didn't need to swap her out. The big 14k was because it actually triggered melt, and because you have so much EM it increased by a lot.

For the team, I suggest: Yun Jin: Provides a flat Normal Attack DMG buff, and 25% extra Normal Attack damage at C2. She also gives 12% attack speed at C6. You can also give her 4pc Noblesse if Candace is not running it, but 4PC Husk of Opulent Dreams will give her a stronger buff. Barbara: At C2 her skill gives you 15% Hydro DMG Bonus. She can also use Thrilling Tales and and 4pc Tenacity if you stay really close to the enemy. She also gives 1/2 of Hydro resonans, which helps Candace. Candace: (duh) She gives you Hydro Infusion, and her burst has a 20% Elemental DMG bonus for Normal Attacks. Then her A4 increases that buff by 0.5% percent for every 1000 HP she has, so build her with as much HP as possible. She can run 4Pc Noblesse if Yun Jin is not running it. Qiqi: (duh) The Haran Geppaku Futsu is very good for this, since it gives 40% Normal Attack DMG Bonus. You can also R2 it since you have another copy which increases the cap to 50%. Since you are not using Qiqi's burst, running 4pc Shimenawa is best as it gives her a massive Normal Attack DMG Bonus, and also some extra ATK from the 2pc bonus. Qiqi's C2 will also most likely be activated the entire time because Candace and Barbara's Hydro won't remove the Cryo aura from Qiqi's skill, but will instead proc Freeze, which counts as the enemy being afflicted with Cryo. Not sure how much dilution will become a problem though, since a lot of these multipliers are the same.

One thing I noticed about the forward melt pyro qiqi The issue was indeed that the cryo was melting and not Pyro, but as far as I could tell(from watching the vid and from me messing around with building forward melt Yoimiya), it wasn't because there was too much cryo, it was because there wasn't enough cryo, qiqi was applying pyro faster then the cryo was being applied, which means the targets would have pyro applied at the moments the cryo applications arrived, and because melt removes cryo and not pyro, and qiqi was still applying pyro faster, the cryo ended up triggering the melts instead. I think rosaria and shenhe *might* work for that however, because I'm pretty sure they apply cryo faster and I think rosarias burst has little to no internal cooldown on the cryo application, im pretty sure diona and ganyus bursts have longer icd+ qiqi also provides a bit of cryo herself, which might be enough to let qiqi trigger melt and apply cryo to the target before qiqi applies pyro and thereby triggers the forward melt again, im pretty sure Bennys pyro infusion has the same icd as Yoimiyas.

14:35 I can definitely say you are NOT looking at the aura applied on the enemy. As for example, in last two fights at this point the aura on enemy was pretty much permanent pyro occasionally broken by Qiqi's E doing the melt. And it isn't even leveled to do any kind of damage. For reliable melts you need constant cryo applications hence, you need Ganyu, Rosaria or at least Kaya on your team. Diona is not even remotely good for this job. She can burst-apply cryo and generate energy, but she can't _keep_ it applied. A team which may work: Benny E → Kazu tap E (VV on pyro) → Ganyu Q → Kazu Q (you can try to skip this, but it's good at keeping infused aura up) → Benny Q → Qiqi Time. I've tested and it seem to work. My terribly built level 70 Kiki did manage to land a hit on 23k and a couple 14k. The only problem of this team when you use well-built characters you need to test it on something that can actually survive initial phase. As for example, I never did manage to get to Qiqi while tested this on Ruin Guards. They folded either on Kazuha's or Bennett's Q. So, had to go and terrorize a flying triangle boss in the desert and almost one-phased it. Also, be mindful of Kazu Q after Benny Q order since Kazu's bubble will be infused with Pyro when used in Benny's circle... which is exactly want you want in Hydro Qiqi build and exactly what you want to avoid in Pyro Qiqi build. That's actually why 15:45 worked well enough. Oh, and btw, you don't have to hit Ruin Guard in the both spots. Just hit him in the head. Watch him stagger for a moment and slap another arrow in the same head when it mostly turn it back towards you. Otherwise it's likely to unstagger before you reach the second spot and become invulnerable to stagger for a short period.

Qiqi was my second 5 star. I love using her with the clam set! She heals SO MUCH. Every 3 seconds the little bubble does the max amount of damage. She is also a great super conduct character so my Beidou is doing 9-12k phys dmg. They are my meta.

May I suggest C6 Benny + Candace + Chonguyn + Ayaka/Keqing for a very chaotic infusion build. Those 3 bursts make Ayaka hit just about every element for some reason. You could use Yun Jin because she buffs normal attacks. And when Raiden makes an attack with ball, you can press elemental skill for Kazuha when Raiden just disappears there, then the ground is purple and blow up the electro, then you would destroy the ball immediately.
