Almost every time I see Subzero Plating I remember the first run you did of this game where you got that at the start and then never got any way to inflict Frost.

Now you're guaranteed to get a tagged upgrade every 7th level. So as long as you go frost, it should work out.

My go to on every build is corrosion and crit. If you manage to get enough you can't lose.

Ricochet bullets re affected by your bullet speed too. So it's better on long range weapons. Notably though, the damage is the part that stacks. That means it can do a lot of damage no matter what weapon you start with. It just requires some dedication. Don't be sleeping on the commons just because they're not a pretty color. Most of them are really solid for specific builds.

Just beat threat level 45 a few days ago with the tesla ship & chain lightning. Boy that was not an easy time, but unlocking the storm ship was pretty nice.

Here's the thing about shard scavenger. I once got ten of them all at once, and I couldn't confidently say I noticed any difference in the next wave. It also used to be common with the same stats. I think it might actually be a fake upgrade.

Phalanx adds so much survivability - head and shoulders stronger than other ships IMO

Regarding Ricochet Shot... It's definitely not for every weapon. You either use it when you have a high damage piercing weapon, like Railgun, or with something that fires very quickly for an on-hit build, like Chaingun or Cryobeam. For Railgun, you want at least 4 of them, so the extra bullets do 100% of your weapon damage (the chance to happen is fixed at 25%, the damage is what scales). And the extra bullets help with wave clear, which the Railgun famously struggles with. For on-hit stuff, you really only need the 1, since the chance does not scale, and as a fast firing weapon the damage scaling isn't attractive. You want to be hitting more things faster, and getting extra bullets for free is great for on-hit. In fact, it was buffed. The Pierce Chance is new since the big update. This makes it > even better < for the Railgun, which famously struggles with large volumes of enemies.

I so badly want to see an Unstable Reaction build, with all the On Heal and On Damage synergy. Frost has a lot of it with Endothermic Repair and Icy Retaliation and Cryo Spears and Cryo Healing (which triggers healing on damaged too!) ...

the cold, armor, health regen build has always been really strong. And I know you were a little frustrated at all the reactive armors, but 1500% thorns is really op.

How exactly can you tell what's glitched and what's not? Genuinely asking because all the mods look normal to me.

I'll try to remember to point it out clearly in the next recording we do, but the background of the mod has like a shimmer to it, and a little bit of a fancier background. It may be hard to notice on mobile, and if we're going fast, then doubley so.
