Hey angels happy Sunday! I know we are giggling through this video but on a serious note this is a hugeee issue. NOBODY should be injecting anyone without proper education. People can end up in the hospital and have permanent damage. Please check credentials and support locations like Mysa Medical & Wellness Spa who are equipped to provide a service like this! Stay safe out there ya'll. I want everyone to practice this service safely and receive this service safely! While I understand the appeal of hylaraun pens. There are major issues that can happen with this and your safest bet is to go to a licensed injector! Remember all statements are my own opinions. Update: *I have a deep dive/follow up video about this going live May 31st 2024 5:30pm CST! It’s a juicy one so stay tuned!*

Many hospitals have forms for people who don't have insurance and it's for free care. If you are approved, they may even cover you for a year, or however long your hospital extends it for. And you'll just have to reapply. And if you make too much they'll do a slide and scale based on your income. And find out if you can use it at the hospital pharmacy!!! Every hospital has a pharmacy, just find out if they fill prescriptions for outpatient care (ER, or other areas of the hospital where you're treated and leave & don't stay over). My hospitals pharmacy will fill any script from any of their departments, even walk ins (&out, like ER) & you just give them your free care card or paperwork. Always advocate for yourself.... A hospital can not turn you away for lack of insurance or ability to pay so never skip not caring for yourself or your family members bc of no insurance! There is so much out there for people who can't afford health insurance! ❤

Hyaluron pens were originally made for insulin delivery for diabetic patients who are terrified of needles. Insulin is a very small molecule and can be pushed into the tissue with that pen; however, hyaluronic acid filler molecules are HUGE and cannot be pushed through the skin with these pens. It leaves substantial trauma, lumps, modules and significant swelling. Along with scar tissue and granulomas which can leave lips permanently deformed.. I have seen many patients who come to me after they've had this done and there is little to nothing I can do for them aside from referring them to a plastic surgeon for surgical correction...DNP injector here❤

Just a note there is no “tech” position with injections. If you are part of a legal injection operation that follows rules in the states, you are at minimum a physician’s assistant under the supervision of a physician in an office, or an specially trained RN or NP like the majority of legal injectors. I got my lips done at a clinic in a shopping centre in Australia (they’re everywhere) and the person that did them was a registered nurse. Before the injection was done she had to facetime either another nurse or a doctor (can’t quite remember) and I had to speak to them and confirm i knew the risks and what to do if something went wrong, they also made sure to check my allergies and, because I’m allergic to bees, let me know that they have everything they’d need medically on site incase of any negative reactions (dissolver contains bee venom). I couldn’t imagine just rocking up to some persons house/lash place and be chill with them sticking my face without all of that protocol 😬

It’s also a slap in the face to the people that take the time and money to go to school and EARN their credentials in order to practice. There’s so much material that is required to learn when it comes to dealing with the human body and the fact that people want to cheat their way into this field by skipping all of it with a bullshit “course” is not only insane it’s scary. And then she’s teaching other people to do the same nonsense that she’s doing so now we will have even more unlicensed people illegally practicing and potentially ruining more lives. It’s sick. Like why do these people think they can do the same thing with a 1-3 week class that takes someone at least 3 years of school AND a standardized state exam to do?

When you were showing her reel, 1st she used hand sanitizer before gloves which is not enough! Soap and water are standard, sanitizer only if no water is available. Then after she put the gloves on, she was just touching all of the equipment and cotton pads - which I am assuming are not sterile either considering everything else. Nothing appears to be single use or had been autoclaved. Or even wiped with an alcohol wipe. I'd be surprised if she HASN'T given someone an infection, honestly.

This is truly truly insane. In Texas, you actually don’t have to have any type of medical license to do injections including Botox which literally paralyzes muscles. These people have zero knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medications, dosages, how to reconstitute, aseptic technique, infection/ complication protocols, etc. and are learning in a 1 or 2 day course how to perform what is technically a medical procedure. Lash artists, nail techs, your neighborhood 18 year old, etc are all being certified, & it’s insane. Then they create a “course” or training and start teaching other unqualified people as well as a way to make money! The fact that they offer “vendors” for the filler shows that they aren’t using actual FDA approved, medical-grade products because only a few companies create these fillers and they won’t ship them to a house. They will only ship them to business addresses like a medspa or doctors office, so you know they are injecting people with whatever they can order on alibaba and Amazon which is how they are able to perform these procedures for such a cheap price. Stay safe people! Make sure your injector is a qualified RN, NP, PA, or MD!

I’m a medical assistant and I went through the additional certification process for injections while I was working as a pharmacy technician but I wouldn’t want to train unlicensed individuals to inject themselves let alone anyone else unless they’re diabetic or an epipen user. So many things can and will go wrong if an unlicensed individual without epipen or diabetic injection knowledge attempts to inject another individual. Not to mention the Good Samaritan law has a ton of gray area when doing so in situations where a person with an epipen or diabetic person becomes unresponsive. Please get the proper training through the AHA, Red Cross or other Agencies certified in training individuals how to properly perform said injections. I’ve seen all kinds of things go wrong and after a certain point if a bad injection occurs there are risks of injury, infection, sepsis, and in extreme cases death… especially if you don’t know the proper amount to inject, areas appropriate to inject, etc.

@Error404Pod6 ай бұрын
@@samuelengesvik2815that’s completely understandable in my training to even get my medical assistant degree and license there were multiple lab courses where we learned to inject ourselves and one another (with saline). Injecting myself was a little more difficult since my right hand is more steady than my left but finding the right angle for all injection types (SUBQ, IM, and IV) was really dependent on a few things how much fat I had on my arms at the time, focus levels, fluid intake, etc. When you inject yourself I feel like it’s easier to be mindful of those things but when injecting other people you have to ask a ton of questions before you start the process especially if it’s the first time you’ve seen someone. Plus a lot of people who are needle phobic will not tell you 😅

Isabella, I don't know if you ever looked into the Coolsculpt lawsuit. Bassically Linda Evangelista sued them for disfiguring her and iirc they settled. I followed the whole case, it was really upsetting to see people hate on Linda for being "vain" as if coolsculpt wasn't always advertised as super safe... From what I gathered they didn't care to give estheticians enough hours of training, which resulted in the machine being used incorrectly. Instead of fat getting "frozen" as advertised, for example the machine was kept on one area for too long and people would end up with chunks of solidified fat under skin. So like you're getting lipedema instead of "safe" lipo :(

A few years ago, I had an appointment scheduled to get my lip fillers at this “medical spa” but thankfully I read reviews before going since it was a place I’ve never been to before. There were several reviews stating that they were going to take legal actions because the injector was just a licensed esthetician and a “certified injector” NOT a licensed medical practitioner. They had terrible reactions to whatever this certified injector injected into their lips. Please be aware of who you are trusting to inject in your body. Very scary situation that I almost got myself into! Phew! So glad I avoided that but it makes me sad for the people that had those terrible experiences.

Also I forgot to mention this in the last post but please be aware anyone willing to sell self injection materials without doing and posting links to extensive research on said products may result in a high chance of harmful microplastics being included in the product. (And that’s just a best case scenario - worst case scenario it’s not even the product being sold and could be black market materials that have been shown to cause extreme infections or death). I don’t know the actual link to the article from 2018/2019 where a lady in her late teens/20s got a bbl in a completely different country where many articles where posted about this plastic surgeon being the best of the best in BBLs got the bbl but was so septic days later (and possibly didn’t have proper education on post plastic surgery signs of infection) and passed. While that surgeon used the right product and technique… poor education on signs of infection ultimately led to her death less than a week later. These injections are not safe to begin with and I want people to be aware there’s no guarantee you’ll both have the perfect result and perfect healing experience… everyone’s body is so different and reacts differently to these procedures.

Good luck getting those assistance from hospitals. Also hospitals are NOT ashamed of their prices. Ask for the itemized receipt but the cost doesn’t change. That “trick” has never worked for me… they aren’t ashamed to charge for gloves or whatever you think there gonna knock off the price… Anyway take heed. Go to the hospital just know that depending on your income bracket they will tell you how much you owe monthly and if you try to argue they’ll just send you to collections. This happened with me :/ The monthly they told me? 350$ a month. I was living paycheck to paycheck and sometimes putting off necessary bills. Income bracket isn’t everything, and the standard for “poverty” has stayed the same even though the threshold for what constitutes poverty HAS NEEDED to be raised for YEARS.
