I'm Iñaki, Unliftable's creator. Many thanks for your review, you're so kind. Unliftable was created and patented for me on 2018, thinking paradox made a great tutorial. Tenyo made its 2020 release based on my invention (as they mentioned on the packaging). With the help of Javier Franco I have decided to make this new portable version that I manufacturate personally one by one. Thanks for the support. Here I am ready for any questions.

I love Scott’s reviews but haven’t watched this as been on holiday. I have this from Blackpool and it’s unreliable imo, I bought online some of the material myself and made a better one. I used the flat bike boxes you buy online and construct yourself as they are more shiny and it makes it work better. Simply put it makes the acetate always separate from the box and it would rather cling for dear life to the table Gaz 😊

So here is my advice to you. I am glad you are back to the reviews. I have been in magic for 25 years. From all the online reviews you are the one I like the most because you truly give an honest review with no agenda. The Craig BS well thats the kind of person he is. He has a history among the community so we are not surprised of what he has done to you and others. My advice is to ignore him. He is not worth any fight. Focus on your work

Dear colleague. I don't agree regarding a puzzle trick. I can assure you that I have fooled expert magicians using Unliftable. Presentation is the most important thing, if you present it as a puzzle it will be a puzzle, if you present it as magic it will be a miracle, believe me. Penguin just sent me an email about this today. Looked good, so I was thinking about getting it, and found your review. Nice one. Thank you. Any suggestions on what I can use (take along) as a smooth surface, in case the table won't work? Also, will the portable smooth surface lift up with the deck (stick to it)?
@EverythingMagicPro994 ай бұрын
Realistically you need to perform it on a fixed table. Even if you have a piece of Perspex the size of a close-up pad, the spectator will likely lift it with the box. However, to answer your question - a piece of acetate should work providing it’s on a flat surface.

Is it impromptu? Or is set up needed with the table? Could an over zealous spectator break….never mind you answered that. Non porous? So certain wood tables or cloth covered tables won’t work? Thanks for reviewing this, you seem to review a lot that I’m interested in. Smilesotheylikeyou
@EverythingMagicPro995 ай бұрын
Yes it’s impromptu as long as you have the box. It could break if someone smashes/squeezes the box too hard just like a normal tuck box. Yes, certain wood tables won’t work and definitely no cloth. Must be a flat, non-porous surface. Imagine a small plastic suction cup. This will work with whatever that sticks to.

Wait......so the spectator CAN lift it, but only when you want them to? So you can show that the spectator CAN lift it, "take their powers away" and then with the exact same movement from the SPECTATOR, they can't lift it anymore???? If that's the case, I'm not only buying one, I'm buying at least four of them 😱 can someone confirm if this is true haha
@EverythingMagicPro995 ай бұрын
Yes, that’s the effect. It’s not YOU the performer who does it, it’s the spectator who experiences the light/heavy box. Classic effect originating (albeit a different method) from the 1800’s I believe.
@t-bonein-sc8784 ай бұрын
Hi and thanks for the review on this...... Please allow me to tell you a little about myself, I'm a 70 yo senior who has dexterity issues and poor hand coordination. I'm unable to do hand slights (even the simple ones) therefore I enjoy effects (tricks) that are done with "gaff" cards. I don't really like full deck tricks as I like showing off in karaoke bars (between songs) and most dont want to see or be bothered with tricks that are long and drawn out. Therefore I prefer several that are played out quickly and also very visual. The main problem with those are many spectators want to examine the cards, therefore you need to be able to quickly go to to another one to distract them from the one they just saw and typically after 3-5 tricks, their brain is fried and I end clean. In the event someone DOES want to see something longer...... I will bring out the trick called "Predixion" by the late Max Maven which uses two decks..... at the beginning I like to start with the main deck taking the cards out of the box then doing a quick false cut followed by a quick false shuffle (both very basic and simple). Now whats I like about this trick..... "Unliftable" is that it can also hold a deck of cards. I feel this should have been mentioned in your review as this is important. I wont use it as most will but rather to draw attention to it being Unliftable just prior to to removing the cards and then quickly doing the false cut and shuffle. With the spectator still thinking about the Unliftable box, they aren't paying as close attention to the shuffle and cut and then..... all the dirty work is DONE..... I've always admired Max Maven for several of his tricks as well as his persona and style of presentation and "Predixion" is just one of those tricks and the one which will hold the cards for that trick; (I also like "B-Wave" by Max Maven which is a powerful quick trick using gaff cards) GREAT STUFF....... I've ordered my "Unliftable" , not yet received it but like yourself..... I plan to buy more. I stumbled upon your review and mainly was wanting to see a close up of the box to get a sneak preview of it and see if I will be able to use it...... and I'm pretty sure I will. Sorry for this being so long, I kinda got off track and for that.... I'm sorry Thanks for your review.

I hope you enjoy Unliftable as much as I’ve been enjoying it. The only issue with it is that the surface needs to be very flat and clean otherwise it doesn’t become heavy. Meaning there aren’t too many places or occasions to use it but it hides in plane sight until then. Long or short, I always try to read comments and serve the magic community the best I can.
@magoinaki4 ай бұрын
Many thanks for your support, here Iñaki, unlifatble's creator. In the karaokes I think you don't have problem to find appropriated surfaces. Right now I'm thinking on use unliftable with an "invisible deck effect", for example... What do you think?
