Somebody needs to bring this floor plan back it is so nice. The only thing missing for me is the honey oak. I do not sleep in a padded white room do not want to in a camper. The "New York vanilla" color walls are good to hide the fingerprints of people that paw at walls. Under 12K pounds and only 36 feet long sure has a lot in it. This is over a million views and easy to see why.

I have a 2013 open range 26ft (bumper to bumper) and I can pull with my Ford expedition...but I also have a stabilizer on it and I am going to get a better hitch...it's a very comfy trailer and had to live in while caring for my mom..I got alot of space for a tiny trailer and it's built very well..I did have problems with hit and cold coming from dinning pop out . And in process of taking out corner tv cabinet as I can feel the cold and I live in southern California...I'm going to insulate the walls and put back tv but I'm putting in a fireplace under it instead of cabinet...it's a great place even in the rain..almost sound proof...most maintenance has been on stickers that won't stay and have pealed..I also can't wash at home as we have well water and it will spot it bad...I don't like the door as it has a crank out screen and no way to get a screen door so I had to make one..I get a great breeze and it wasn't coming in the little vent...I also live in nature so it's been a challenge keeping them from getting in..but they're having a very hard time because of the great underbelly on this..I bought it used but they didn't use it much..been very happy...well built..I get lots of ????because I've not seen too many here in CA...and have to order parts online...if you see one for sell check it out..I've lived in this one for over 2 years full time and it looks like it did new..and held up nicely... PS..I also live with 2cats and 4betta fish.lol...very comfy

I 'm going to down size ( Going Broke ) and this fits the bill .....and it does sound like Allen Harper . Jon Cryer . I've been searching for a floor plan exactly like this , the Washer dryer , the patio , the rolling work station , recliners and All LED Lighting really makes Solar power a no brainer and there' plenty of space for extra batteries . it's the Roominess if that's a word . If you are going to live in it , you need some space ...Guitar Amps take up a lot of space, and mine go to 11 . Retirement years come faster than you think .

+Doe Campbell: The good news: It basically still exists. You can see it here: bit.ly/1qnEqXb. It's simply now called a "Roamer 340FLR" instead of a "Journeyer 340FLR." Basically Open Range was using one of Winnebago's trademarked names and didn't realize it. They simply killed the name "Journeyer" and rolled both of these floorplans into the "Roamer" family. There are virtually no differences now. The only main exception is the patio deck has been phased out because most dealerships lacked the guts to stock a really oddball model like this with the patio deck. Apparently, we were one of the few. I WISH it was still available.
@JoshtheRVNerd8 жыл бұрын
*****: We're equally disappointed. We sold a bunch of these. Basically, dealerships didn't have the moxy to pony up & stock the unit with a unique feature like the patio deck. I've shared comments like these left here by my viewers more than once begging to get this feature back as a special order item. They simply only offer it on 3x fifth wheels and Highlander toy haulers now. Trust me -- if it ever changes, then you'll see me throw an update on here IMMEDIATELY.

the Clayton Mac show no this particular unit would prove too heavy for a half ton truck. You would need at least 3/4 ton or higher. It is a nice rig. Although I did see some delamination on some models from 2012 . Dunno if they addressed those problems by using other more durable materials by now.

+Joshua Winters Does Open Range make this in a smaller model? I was interested in something like this but between 26-30 ft.
@JoshtheRVNerd9 жыл бұрын
This is a common question, but you can't really just "make it smaller." SOMETHING has to give to save any room. Something to consider: The Journeyer line consisted only of two models and was basically built identically to the Roamer series. As such it's been rolled into the Roamer line we also feature at our store. For smaller models you'll want to look into the "Light" family of RVs by Open Range (which includes both fifth wheels and travel trailers). There are VERY few differences (lack of nose cap option on a travel trailer, different counter tops... and that's about it). You can see them here: bit.ly/1IJBsis

It no longer exists. In 2016 they stopped offering the patio. Then, it was discontinued completely.

Nice! I want one! How much to get it to Australia?
@JoshtheRVNerd9 жыл бұрын
jwm 81: We can happily arrange shipping to any U.S. Port of exit. We're not international shipping experts by any means & ask you make your own export arrangements.

I know, why is there nothing like this in Australia? The closest thing that I have found is The Homestead made my Cell Caravans.

Do you have a screened in patio/deck version? I hate bugs and mosquitos!
@JoshtheRVNerd8 жыл бұрын
This model is no longer produced with the patio deck whatsoever. The deck is not even available as a special order item. Indirectly that should answer your question. If it ever becomes available again, then we're going to be the first to stock it.

Try getting into some campgrounds with that thing. It's the size of the 51st state!
@JoshtheRVNerd5 жыл бұрын
It's a behemoth, but still small compared to some of these monster fifth wheels and toy haulers. RVs like this are definitely best suited to getting it somewhere and leaving it parked for a while.

Forgive my ignorance. What is Gas Forced Air underbelly? Is it that the whole floor is heated from below, or is it just describing that the ductwork runs under the floor?
@JoshtheRVNerd8 жыл бұрын
+Randy Landsman: Perhaps I jumbled some words together at some point. I have certainly been guilty of that before. This RV has a forced air heated underbelly as well as ductwork that pushes heat through floor events of the RV from a propane gas powered furnace.

+Joshua Winters Thanks Joshua. I've learned today. Just wish I could afford to own it. That is the most fantastic trailer I've ever seen!

+Randy Landsman No Problem! There are sparingly few "one of a kinds" out there. This is most certainly one of them!

Is there a 2021 version of this trailer, Uncle Josh?
@JoshtheRVNerd3 жыл бұрын
There is not. They stopped building them like you see here in the 2015 season (this was about the last of them). The model was still available in the 2016 model year, but no patio was offered. It did not make it to 2017.

Josh you are the best. If my tow rating is 8500 pounds on my Yukon, could I pull this???
@JoshtheRVNerd6 жыл бұрын
Absolutely not. The weight is already too much and this thing is just far too large physically. The wind resistance alone would melt your transmission. Also, these haven't been produced for 2-3 years now.
