Pretty late reply, but I believe it's because he's not only a hidden gem that people have to dig around youtube to find. But even if they do find him, some of them may not find his music to their liking which is fine, yet I do agree he deserves some more exposure.

Man, I've listened to Unlike Pluto for so many years now and if there's any artist, or songs that make me feel nostalgic... It's him and his music. I remember a couple years ago I had been over at my brothers girlfriend's house and we would play minecraft while listening to Unlike Pluto. It was the only music we all seemed to like so we listened to it and man did I enjoy it. I honestly have a genuine appreciation for his music and it has helped me through some tough times. Last week on friday i was really not wanting to go home after school so i sat on a tree branch in one of the graveyards on the way home and listened to this album. There was a slight breeze and it was a nice cool temperature with my headphones on.
