Slay the Spire randomization acting a lot like the youtube algorithm: so you liked Compile Driver, how about 10 more

The Gremlin Nob fight is masterclass level gameplay. Especially the turn starting at 10:10

Timestamps for when Baalor picks up the cards and relic in the thumbnail (Streamlines and Busted Crown): Busted Crown: (1:32) (Neow) Streamline #1: (4:54) (Floor 3 Combat) One could say this deck was... busted!

These Defect runs have been making me very happy. Love to see that Baalor is appreciating Albert more. It's not the perfect card in many situations, but being a one card scaling solution is a virtue that can't be denied.

I was waiting for this one, this was the first run I've ever watched live and boy was it a treat

If you picked up Creative AI from prismatic shard playing like the Watcher, would you get Watcher power cards or Defect?
@yohi525711 сағат бұрын
Watcher power cards
@swordzanderson53528 сағат бұрын
^^^ Cards that originally only generate character-specific cards will never get affected by Prismatic shard. So, things like Distraction and Infernal Blade will only give the card that character originally had, as well.

I would NEVER take dead branch there. Terrible with pyramid, throws your draw.

@@zamplify I typically don't. My best run was getting heart to under 200 with a shiv deck.

I'm not sure why I find Pyramid so boring. Maybe because it's too strong.

I have no proof for this whatsoever, and it's probably not true at all, but I feel like every time I have crown I get better cards then usual/deck-synergistic cards. Probably confirmation biased cognition.

Saying boss swap "wasn't the correct pick" after seeing busted crown doesn't make sense to me. Lowrolling or highrolling doesn't change the evaluation of the decision
@benneroni12 сағат бұрын
If you assume he has 8000 hours in the game (he does) and knows what he’s talking about (he does), and you recognize that something he said isn’t literally correct, then you can safely assume he was being facetious when he said that.
@nowaynowaynottoday11 сағат бұрын
I think he meant it was the right pick until it wasn't 😂
@Divinevert10 сағат бұрын
He's not saying he made a bad decision with the information he had. He's saying it turned out to be a bad decision. Playing the lotto is always a bad decision but if you knew you were going to win somehow, it'd be a great decision.
@jacksmith35188 сағат бұрын
I don't know maybe when he said "it wasn't the correct pick, probably" he's not saying it wasn't the best pick at the time he made it, he's referring to the correct pick specific to this seed. Every seed if you examined it with perfect knowledge would have a "correct" pick for that seeds perfect run, it probably wasn't boss swap for this one.
@fabianschultz6 сағат бұрын
Knowing the outcome in retrospect it wasn‘t the best pick. Doesn’t mean he thinks there was a mistake in the decision making.
