for those wondering, 2024, it is patched, just tried it myself and it removes all the weapons in the locked chest after you die, so there is no point in trying this anymore

Do this!!! Don't worry about the medkits if you don't open them, they'll still be there. Open lockers if you need the parts. Chests obviously for the weapons. Remember this all depends on level too.

Every 5th or 6th time that I die, I’m sent all the way back at the boat with my every enemy spawned right back. I made it to these chests, died when the timer ran out and I’m back to square one …this is maddening.

make sure you're playing on nightmare and finish within 20 minutes because doing that will give you guru advantage giving you 3 mins instead of 30 secs. if you're having trouble, use cloak potions and zaid's flares to stop the volitials from attacking, if you're still having trouble use night hunter boosters.

Thanks for the info, man. Prison was a sweet DLC, UNTIL after all that hardship, I'm TIMED for the Loot? Great, I get 50% of my ammo back and Green Mods. F-U, Techland. Can't remember the last game that timed a Treasure Room.... Punishing me for an intense run. Appreciate it....

Well if your that upset about it why not do any other non timed loot run? Like say stuffed turtle where in 10 mins you could do it near 4 times. Being 8 gre boxes and 20 supply drops every 10 min?

If you do this and end up being locked in the loot room after, simply exit to main menu in there, and reload your save. You will be spawned back at the boat WITH all of your new loot. ;) I am on hard mode.

Didn’t work i opened 2 chests (which is as many as I could open) then I went to the area I opened the door latch killed myself and the chests were all empty

Do not do this anymore, it's fixed. After you die, all the items are removed and you can't leave

I don't understand. If you have to open the chests anyway to get the items. Then just get a friend. Do it on nightmare and you get 2:39 to loot. Only go for the chests because you get guaranteed Gold weapons and King Mods. If you have to open the chests before you go back to get the loot. Then just get the loot when you open the chest lol

Yeah but 1: Nightmare isn't guaranteed, you need Guru to get gold weapons 2: Some people can't do it on nightmare and don't have enough time to get everything not in the crates
