Played during the opening stage in Rockman X6 (Mega Man X6). This track is slightly different from the International version. This one does not have the electric guitar in some parts.

I honestly like this version more, but barely. I really like the guitar and I think it sounds a little better. But this one fits the tone of what you are supposed to feel in the beginning of X6 after “losing” Zero

En Japón, el país de origen del studio que hizo la saga, lo llaman Rockman; mientras que en el resto de países lo llamamos Megaman. Y sí, sé que tengo un retraso de 3 meses...

Yeah the guitar adds too much. US always putting their "rock 'n roll" spin on JP versions of game music, thereby ruining it. I'm looking at you, US Sonic CD.

Wow. I'm surprised to find someone like me in the world. I don't like the guitar screeches, and I've always had self-esteem issues since people were mean and awful to me for it when I was a child. I forced myself to listen to it so I could maybe be accepted, but it just wore me out. I can listen to some of it now, but I don't think I'll ever truly love it. To those who do like it, I'm glad. You don't go through the pain I do, and that's good. If this sounds overdramatic, there's more to the story, but it's about me possibly being sexually abused as a child and the connection those sounds have with those experiences, so I don't usually go in-depth about that in public, with the exception of a basic explanation like what I just did in this comment. Truly, I hope no one experiences the issues I have. I love music, and I wish I could love all of music, but what techno and trance do for me, rock and metal never will. The worlds I see in my mind with beautiful electronic synthesized music like Jungle, Drum and Bass, and most forms of Trance, those are things I could never see if I listened to hard rock or heavy metal. So, to OP (futureicon23), thank you. Thank you for voicing that you don't like hard rock and heavy metal. Even though X6's international opening stage isn't metal, it does have some sounds similar to it, and it got you to voice something I rarely hear from anyone. I feel less alone. Thank you.

@@jomon324 well shit, so sad that you ultimately can't enjoy electric guitar and metal properly because of one or several specific tragic events. That really is a sham, cause it's really not the music's fault from what I understand, it's the people's, the peer's fault, they partly made you like this, as well as the sexual abuse you said you had in your childhood. Really wish to you that you can overcome that someday, to eventually start enjoying electric guitar, and maybe even metal, more, cause trust me, there's some sick stuff out there.

@@megapulsar9244 I've gotten into the Ys series of games due to loving the gameplay, but often the music can feel oversexualized to me, especially in the PC Engine entries, even though I love those the most alongside the Vita and Switch games. I'm kinda glad I'm "too open" because otherwise, no one else on Earth would know that a person like me exists. It's weird, y'know? So many people want to be unique, have a unique perspective, or be special in some way. It's when that unique part of yourself comes from something terrible that happened that you start mentally telling others "be careful what you wish for." If I had the chance, I'd love to sit down with some of the big scary rock musicians I was terrified of as a kid, and just have a conversation and see what it's like for them to hear that a random person was so negatively affected by their creations. Of course I used to blame the music, the culture, the shock factor, anything other than simply say "something horrible happened to me, and I'll never know all the details, but I can't blame anyone except the one who did it." I've met so many people who love rock and metal who are wonderful people. I'll always be an outsider, but I'll always protect people's right to enjoy what they want as long as they aren't hurting someone. If someone has a problem with their passion, then that needs to be handled by the individual, not by snuffing out the thing the person has a problem with. If anyone would like to talk to me more about this kind of thing, I'll drop a link to something where we can chat more outside of youtube.
