It’s been nearly four months since malls reopened with promises of maintaining all safety measures, but Mirror has found that the assurances ring hollow at many of them. From security personnel unwilling to wear masks to defunct thermal scanners, quite a few malls acknowledged that they don’t even keep a record of visitors with high temperatures. Instead, they allow a generous leeway-by letting them cool down near a fan-to ensure that safety measures don’t come in the way of business decisions.
