That phone is actually from Tracfone, not Simple Mobile. And phones from Tracfone cannot be unlocked for other carriers

Hi, I wanted to make sure that a Samsung Galaxy Note 5, a T-mobile device, that is currently on straight talk, would work before I bothered u privately? And does an unlock remove that annoying "T-mobile" start-up splash screen when first powered on? I switched from T-mobile because their service would not work in the middle of the city, while in my home or anywhere else. And even with straight talk, my signal still is very crappy. Hey there, thanks so much for the comment :) 1. Doing the unlock does not remove any of the carrier apps or logos 2. Yes, the reason that signal is crappy is because you're still using T-Mobile towers. Doing the SIM unlock would allow you to use AT&T towers - whether via Straight Talk, or via a different carrier. So if that's what you'd like to do, get ahold of us

i purchased a phone from a tmobile employee that won it at work and didnt want it. I've paid 3 different unlock companies to unlock my tmobile lg g5 all have been unsuccessful. I checked imei on tmobiles imei checker online and imei is not found. i then called tmobile and was then told by tmobile that the phone has to be on their network for at least 24 to 48 hours before it is recognized by their system. I let a family member who has tmobile use the phone with their sim card for 3 days and then called tmobile to have them unlock it. they submitted the unlock and I even got the confirmation email. I tried to unlock it and was unsuccessful. I then called tmobile and was told that the phone will not be registered unless I bought it directly from tmobile. I feel I have tried everything and have lost more money than its worth to have just bought an already unlocked device. Can you help me?

3 days is not enough. It has to be used with active T-Mobile service until the IMEI shows as valid on their site - www.t-mobile.com/verifyIMEI.aspx

T-Mobile stopped using unlock codes 3 years ago. Any website or company still selling "codes" for T-Mobile devices is nothing more than a scam. The phone doesn't ask for a code, so there's no way to type one in, even if they send you one. SIM unlocking is now completely controlled by T-Mobile, via the Device Unlock app process shown in the video here

They sent me an unlock code, which requires the SIM of another service inserted in order to proceed, despite the fact that straight talk services can only be activated on an "unlocked" phone! 1. Yes it can be used on Straight Talk. 2. T-Mobile phones don't have "unlock codes" anymore, so hopefully you didn't pay for the code. Their phones are now unlocked via the app, as shown in the video

I have a locked TMobile LG G4 H811. I purchased online. I tried to use the unlock app..it said, Unlock Failed.. this device is not eligible. I have not put a Sim card in the phone. Its simless and not activated. I dont want to have to activate on tmobile just to to unlock. Phone was factory reset when sold to me. IMEI is good. No financial obligation. ****Can this get done (Permanent unlock via unlock app) without a Sim Card in the phone? Thank You!

Yes. No SIM card is required in order to do the app unlock process. However, if the phone was never activated on T-Mobile, then it will not be registered and recognized in their database and therefore cannot be unlocked

Oh no, the guy that sold me the phone DID have an account with TMobile using this phone. Perhaps HE could make the request? He said he would help. Would they do it for me? (I am a customer of Tmobile with a different phone. But dont want this phone on TMobile.)

Hi, I have an LG G Stylo MetroPCS I think it's a T-MOBILE I don't know I got it as a gift and I don't know if it is gonna work with any sim card, I tried to insert my friend's T-MOBILE sim card on my phone and I restart it and it give me that massage about unlocking I lunched the device unlock app on my phone and did the same on the video but it toke too long on the boost loop and I restart it and I don't know if the process was finished or not so after that I was looking for the device unlock app but I didn't find it, it's gone and I don't know what to do please reply asap.

No, that would be a waste of time and money. A phone doesn't need to be unlocked in order to be used with the same original network. The purpose of a network unlock is to use a totally different network

i purchased a note 3(tmobile) some time back that i never really used, only in the house for games so i wouldnt beat my evryday phone down. yeasterday i factory reset my grand prime(metro) and it froze on the bootloader screen, i was at work when i did this. so i swapped my sim card to note an it worked for a decent period of time, about 2 hours. ( i can send u screen shots of the call an message log if needed) When i got off work and tried calling my mom, the no network message came up. i sent the grand prime off to samsung an he directed me to tmobile for my issue with the note, where i was informed it was blocked due to an insurance claim. can anything be done?

iPhones are very different - they don't use the unlock app. Apple controls everything about iPhones, including the unlock process. But we offer iPhone unlocking services too!

In order for Apple to do it, you have to be a business with a registered developer account with them. So unless he has that, they will not do it for him haha. So I would recommend he or you contact us directly :)
