God does not always heal us. If he did Christians would never die. I think you must be careful with this teaching. My oldest daughter passed away a year ago and My younger daughter 2 days after the funeral lost her full term baby girl all in the period of 3 weeks. We cried and cried out to God, to heal and raise our daughter I laid hands on her and said "In Jesus name Come back" Every ounce of my being believed Jesus would do it but he did not. We laid hands on our Grand daughter and she did not live again. Our lives are so shaken up But God is so awesome and present in our suffering. We are All Spirit filled Christians we love and serve God in our lives and believe in his total power and willingness to heal. We are born again, and Spirit filled We believe in his Grace and that he heals today. and have faith in God to heal anyone for anything. You are young and you need to know to teach that God Never allows us to suffer and go thru trials including illness, disease and death this is not Biblical. The diciples were all killed, Paul was beaten and left in prison, nowhere does it say God healed his wounds in prison, Look at All the Christians that are being persecuted and murdered by ISIS and other Muslims who murder Christians. Children of Christians being beheaded and sons and daughters taken captive "Today" by ISIS . Jesus said IN THIS WORLD WE WILL HAVE TROUBLE BUT TAKE HEART, I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD. What about the Christians who go to every healing service who remain in a wheel chair? God does NOT always heal everyone all the time. We have to trust God even when we suffer and lose our loved ones. Remember , everyone still dies, Christians and non, yes God can and does still heal, But God also allows us to suffer both pain, sickness and death in this life, sometimes it is his will that we suffer, but he is Greater than our suffering and His power is made perfect in our weakness. God gives us the POWER AND GRACE TO LIVE THROUGH OUR SUFFERING. God is God and we are not. WE are his children and he loves us. HEAVEN awaits us! THERE we will find perfection and no more sorrow no more pain.

Where it says by his stripes we arpe healed I think it means that yhe sickened he was talking about was our sin and by his death on the cross we are reconciled to him ( healed ) I don't see it means every time we get sick we are HOING to be healed of it

I have gone time after time to healing services and never get healed. I've commended the sickness out in the name of Jerusalem and I'm still suffering everyday. I've been a child of God for years, I know Jesus is my savior, I know the Holy Spirit dwells in me...yet I'm in severe pain daily. Please help me.

+Cathy Brown Where do you live, Cathy Brown? May I suggest something? .... You said "I have gone time after time to healing services and never get healed." You now have a mindset that you'll never get healed! You're in agreement with a lie. I'll tell you a story ... I had a trapped nerve in my right leg for 4 weeks. I pray for people to be healed a lot and have seen God heal many people of so called incurable diseases. Then, when I prayed for myself and had my family pray for me, nothing happened. For 4 weeks this went on. I couldn't walk my dog around the block (1/2 mile) without limping and being in a lot of pain. I then questioned what was going on. I see people get healed, usually instantly, but for me - nothing! So i then came into agreement that others get healed, but I don't. What wrong thinking! I then saw a video clip (Holy Spirit led me to it) and this guy mentioned that whenever he gets sick, he attends the healing service and he "says" to himself "as soon as the person lays hands on me, i'll be healed!" He declares that with his mouth or in his mind and it happens. It comes down to simple faith .... child like faith. So I thought, "thats easy". I thought the same thing, infact I even spoke that and went next-door to my wife. I told her to pray for me and I said "I'll be healed and we'll go and walk the dog 4 miles" She felt the Holy Spirit stirring in her stomach, which she never feels, and she layed hands on my leg. I checked it out, couldn't feel the pain, went out and walked the dog 4 miles with my family! Pain free .... and pain free ever since! Praise Jesus! It came down to simple child like faith. Try it yourself. God bless Tim

Cathy please read my post, I admire this young mans teaching on Grace, but this teaching on healing cannot be truth. Christians were promised persecution and all sorts of suffering and sorrow. Both old and new testament saints suffered pain, sickness and death. We are healed the same way we are delivered and saved. Some we experience here and now some we will not experience until we are in his precious presence in heaven! Keep asking God to heal you and keep believing but also know that while you wait he loves you and he is your daily strength.

I have enjoyed a lot of your teaching. Especially the ones regarding Grace. I also understand the need not to be wavering in our faith like James says (James 1:6-8). However, it is not entirely true that Jesus healed everyone He came across. John 5 states that there was as group of invalids waiting at Bethesda for the pool to stir and yet Jesus healed only one man among that group. According to your key statement Jesus would fulfill God's will by healing all of them instead of just one. Also, Paul had a "thorn in the flesh" (some kind of physical infirmity) that God refused to remove. Many believe that this is why Paul valued to have "Luke the doctor" with him (Col 4:14). Luke was also an historian, why wasn't that his title, but he was known to all the others as the doctor. I would think that healing people would make a doctor irrelevant. Eventually we are all going to die. Why would God provide atonement for something that is going to be done away with? (I Cor. 15:50-54) I have personally prayed over people where the Lord had told us not to pray for their healing. The Spirit told us that the "sickness is unto death."

No where does the verse indicate that Pauls Thorn in the flesh was a physical infirmity. The other times scripture refers to the Thorn in the Flesh it is never physical sickness.

We have a part to play, a willingness/openness/desire. Just like salvation, as much as God wants you well He will not enforce His will onto us. That's why 2 Pet 3:9 says He's not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Sadly, not all will make that choice to trust in Jesus. Jesus meets people at their point of faith, the point of faith was different in every case, compare the Centurion and Jairus. Matthew 9:29 Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to YOUR faith be it unto you.

MOST 'healers or preachers' I hear, say a NON-BELIEVER cannot be healed by prayer. I hear you saying the opposite, here. This is a certainty that it was not HIS faith which brought about his healing, but it was GOD's FAITHFULLNESS! It sounds as though this man really did not expect anything from your prayer, as so many unsaved do not. Please help me pray for my husband's healing, the skin, specifically. Thank you so much.

Revisiting this topic, I'm trying to find in the Scriptures where the introduction of sin is also the introduction of sickness. Not exactly what Jesus did about that (thank you for all the verses), but the way it all began

Not sure if your message is finished here :) Anyway, the verse I got this from is Rom 5:12 "Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned"-- So sin was the original cause of death. Sickness and disease are just immature forms of death. Sin --> Death --> Sickness.

I don't get it. I was in a Pentecostal church for five years. We had healing services, and no one was healed. Why wouldn't it be happening if it is easy as getting saved?

I hear these claims made by so many, but no one seems to be healed that has a visible ailment. Like a regenerated limb, for example. And you'd think in this age of smart phones, some of these would be caught on video.

+Chris Koontz well there was a kid in my church born without kidneys and the whole church prayed for him and they took an X-ray of him that day and he instantly had one kidney, not two but one. God does things for a reason.

To what extent does God allow healing? For example I could go heal a broken foot, but when should I not do it? Is there such thing as continuously healing people so they live longer than they should?

Hi Samuel. Good questions. Well, God has already 'allowed' all healing to take place, because through Jesus death and ressurection He has already provided all the healing for all sickness of all times. His work was an Eternal-Now reality. In other words, God has already healed everybody of their diseases. Now, He has put His healing power inside of every believer and told us to lay hands to manifest His healing power to the sick to display heaven on earth. So we're not waiting on God to heal, because we are the ones told to minister life and healing. God is still doing the healing and miracles, but He's chosen to do it through us, not independent from us. To answer your second question; when should you not pray for healing? The answer is: never. Since healing is a done deal through Jesus and He put His rasiing from the dead power inside of you, you can (are instructed) to heal at any time, to anybody, any where in His Name. Lastly: people who want to live, usually live long(er). People who give up (mentally etc.) on live, usually live shorter. You chose...God doens't have a date on His calender when it's time for you to die...

Thank you for your encouraging responses! But are you sure about the last one? David had his days numbered (Psalm 139:16) and Job says anyone cannot live longer than God says (Job 14:5-7). Jesus had His days numbered too. Jesus escaped from attempts of arrest until in prayer God said it was time, and then He got crucified.

***** Of course, it is true that God, knowing all things, knows our lifespam from the beginning to the end, but that doens't necesarily mean that one day He decides to 'sap' the life out of us :) So it's true that our days are numbered in that sense. On top of that, the Bible says we become at least 70 the stronger 80 years old. So in that regards anybody who dies before that certainly haven't lived out their time so to speak. This is where my understanding is currently :)

FALSE DOCTRINE - False doctrine - " For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to there work." ( 2 Corinthians 11:13 - 15 ) Read the bible and be set free by the truth of God's living word. You must be born again.

The whole gospel is to be lived, not half. Jesus cast out demons and they have names that must be used. You must find the strong man to get them all gone, but you must break their rights to be there with repentance. Once they are removed people must be instructed on how to keep them away or they will return with 7 more that are more evil. These unclean spirits cause illness and death. If you have not experienced this evil, you will not be prepared to be left standing. Righteous Job was tested and we will be too. You are what you eat, so eat a bad choice in foods, then you will be sick. You have to have decernment if it is spiritual or physical.

Obviously the apostle Paul could not heal everyone: 2Tim 4:20 Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick. Why did he leave him "sick" ? 1Tim 5:23 Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities. So Timothy often had "infirmities" and had a stomach problem. Where is the healing ?

It is God's will to heal period. You cannot make the we ordered say different. Even when the healing does not manifest we cannot teach other than what the word declares.
