You have to install the serial drivers - first it didn't work for me either but once i install the drivers provided, worked like charm - Good luck

@@macadams2732ohh i upgraded and didn't take note of the fw version. But it was on the unlockable fw version. And oh, it kept the unlock state when i updated to the current version.
