Unlock motorcycle box without key

if you lost your key. this might help. this lock set is not wafer type which i initially thought. inside is actually one sided pins. with just a simple steel hook. you should be able to unlock it. Insert the "key" lightly turn anticlockwise, give it a good hard vibration, eureka. After which you can buy a new lock set for $15 - $25 to replace it.... use this knowledge wisely.

I lost my key, but like you, I succeeded in using the thickness gauge. The key cylinder must be replaced. However, the expensive unlocking cost by the key craftsman was saved.

Actually, you can just use a flat philip screw driver and force turn the lock set, no need to use that metal hook i showed in the video. Which brings to the question, is it really secure. Once you opened the lid, you should see a screw, or catch, depending on your model.

if you have the same GIVI slim, you can give it a try. What i am using is actually a stainless steel hook with adhesive tape behind, i bought from a general store, i just straighten one of the hook. I am sure you can use other flat steel metal of similar size. Good luck trying.

Hi, in my video, i am showing is a Givi slim, lock is one sided lock pins, not sure yours which type. The item i am using is actually a steel hook for hanging clothes etc, via double sided tape, i bent one and use it as a key. if all effort fails, you might want to use a screwdriver, and force turn the lock shaft

Hi. I was using a adhesive type flat hook. I strighten one of the 2 hooks. Alternatively you can also use a flat screwdriver and force open.

Hi YuJay, you can actually also use a flat head screwdriver and just forced the keyhole to turn.

@@sanikam6079 I gave it ago with a similar sized piece of metal but I think my barrel is one of the keys jaggled middle slider down the middle.
