If youre struggling to dismount from the proto drake at the top of the building - there is Lamps on the pillars that you can use the Harpoon on to take you to the building. :)

You propably missed the quest dropped by iron giants,you activate this quest lvl77 from your inventory.I had same issue

i just did the same thing here but instead of giving access to the quest and all iam now hatred and at war with them, but when i returned the quest at thorim at the end it said 22000 increased in rept with Son of hodir

you need to do the quest from the quest item called "the retainer's fire" and after that you get a quest called "a spark of hope" that'll push you to friendly.
