If I connect 100 modules together (as you do in the video with two modules), do I simply have to connect to power through a USB C input? Would it be worth it, for example, to connect the USB C cable to a current mobile charger?

It is possible to connect the USB receiver of any module with USB-C power supply. But if 100 modules are connected together, a power supply of at least 5V, 15-20A is needed to be safe. It is recommended that you use a desktop power supply similar to that used in laptops.
