The book by Lyam Thomas Christopher has been my guide for years. I have only just gotten past Neophyte grade. This video was so inspiring and encouraging to keep going. I would love to see a video and or some discussion on managing this discipline while also managing a practical balance in life and how we can work towards that when we don’t have the choice but to pull the 40 hours and and many shifts and requirements of life. I think that can be the most difficult aspect of this practice. How do you maintain the equilibrium in life and manage the time requirements? I’d love to hear about this. No matter how many times it ebbs and flows I just don’t give up. Being patient has become so important and sometimes it feels like it’s a swing between theory and practice. That is, ritual practice and life practice and coming to see it all as the same. Your perspective is always appreciated and I loved this video so much. Thank you for helping to keep the flame alive for so many of us

As far as the structure of the Tree of life, Severity represents the left brain and logical way of thinking, the doer, the fire / earth. The right hemisphere Mercy is the feminine, water / air intuitive, nurturing aspect. Thus it is int balancing the two that we obtain the middle path.

I am interested in many topics but can say that I'm an expert at none. My only issue with this type of magick is that as a pagan I find it hard to approach a magick system intended for abrahamic monotheists. Was intrested in doing the readings anyway to understand the core ideas and see if I can adapt anything from it. The best I've been able to do as a pagan is find lapidary information in regards to the planets . I feel an aversion to Hebrew stuff and so I don't know what magickal path I should follow. But I do think it's important instead what you referenced

The reason for abrahamic monotheism is to teach that YOU yourself can become a source of power so you do miracles (as they call it) the reason cards and magic was banned is because they are things made from dead things not things that are living. I am well studied on these matters. My question is, what would you suggest for those of us who see the abrahamic traditions as working deception in the human realm and want nothing to do with those egregores?
