You’re right, there’s a lot to think about but not excessive and you’ve made it easy to understand. Another excellent FREE lesson from a top coach! Many thanks!

Any keys or tips to not over do the movements? (Ex: to keep from shifting too far forward when the upper center would be on top of or in front of the ball causing too low of a launch, or to keep from moving up too soon and catching the ball low on the clubface?)

Chris, is the sequence weight shift, arms down, then rotate?

Chris, doesn’t thinking of low point forward and underground discourage the pushing up action of the feet?

I think my arms initiate the downswing, something that is very tough to change after many years of playing.

This is interesting, people say golf is not like baseball but from an energy transfer perspective, it’s very much like a baseball swing. The stepping into your shot, lowering lead foot, twisting and then striking is all pretty much a baseball swing. The only difference is golfers are taught not to step into it..

Shift/rotate with align rod lower on lead side is very shrewd here! It happens quickly & too easy to slide to lead, tilt back, pull left shoulder out of plane!
