It would be good to eventually integrate with historical ecologicy datasets to understand the temporal range of desirable resotration outcomes. In many places that have been altered within the last 2-400 years there is a potential for greater diversity than has been observed in the last few decades and provides a further range of potential, desirable outcomes. In many cases the abiotic "infrastructure" such as hydrological processes or biotic "infrastructure" such as nutrient transport driven by trophic pumping (salmon, seabird rookeries, etc) have been brought offline, but in some cases may be restored to help bring online more potential desirable outcomes. I hope baseline is being measured more dynamically than simply through observed states in the last couple of decades. Excellent work and thank you for sharing!
