Great intro to MQTT. You might also consider using both MQTT publish/subscribe nodes in node-red, and the MQTT broker running on the RPi - node-red is very versatile and simple to code a GUI interface. You can also code Python functions in node-red. Thanks for your tutorials, always helpful.

Yes I am going to build up on it and figure out a demonstration with a simple mobile app to have the Pi take a picture and show it to you, will be developing in the weeks to come hopefully I can get it to work

If you are running on paho-mqtt 2.0.0 you will get a "callback_api_version" error on the raspberry pi code. revert to a previous version using 'pip install "paho-mqtt

I need to do this same thing but using a bluetooth connection between a phone and a Pi without any internet connection. Do you have any videos that go over that?

Hey Tyler I have not done any videos with Bluetooth because its a little trickier than wifi and involves more technical knowledge about Bluetooth protocol which I haven't had time to learn about. I will do that in the future for sure, perhaps within the next month. For now, I do not, I hope you can subscribe still!.
