I used to be dead set AGAINST dating younger guys but something said to me, the older you get(I’m 50), you’re excluding a LOT of men. That made me open up to the possibility of dating younger men & I’m SO glad I did. I just began dating a younger man & he’s ABSOLUTELY wonderful…🥰 He has a vibe, aurora, mentality, mindset & energy that’s fun to be around… Men my age are immature & come with SO much baggage, ex wives, ex girlfriends, drama with their children, etc… The man I’m with has his own place, his own car, he works full time, he’s in the military & going to school, he has 2 cats & no kids… Life’s GOOD…!!! 😊

omg, dating men in my age bracket or older is a mine field. I'm 69 (don't look it or act it) and I can no longer date men my age. Most often they are unhappy and unhealthy. My dad was 14 years younger than my mom... I only date younger men now and don't really care about the difference. Love is love and can happen - will happen with the right person.

The kid thing is the big one in this situation. I am a 42 y/o and I like younger men because they're just more in the now. Men my age can be really backwards/ classic in their taste and point of views. I like the culture of younger men more I liked your advice a lot except for one very important thing: actually an older woman is probably right walking away quick. It's in fact one of the wisdom that comes with age: you don't stay in bad situations as long as you would when you were younger. It's healthy and doesn't allow things to turn toxic. Also for the 'market value'. What the heck? A well maintained woman will always have men interested 🤷‍♀️ older and younger. You may have to adapt standards with age for sure but this market value concept is not productive except if you want women to get insecure. In real life if a woman takes care of herself, market value can hold quite ok.

I wonder why there aren't a lot more marriages between younger men and older women. Why aren't these younger men snapping up these great women? If older women are so good why is it every time an old codger is able to get a young thing (usually for his money, etc.) he marries her as soon as she says yes? I personally know some......for example, one old guy got a girl 32 years younger to marry him. Another couple have been married for years and he is now 92, she is in her 50s. I don't know any where a young guy married a woman more than just few years older than he. They may like to use them for a while, but I don't know that they're making anything official with them.
