Hey Bethany, I think it's awesome you're doing all these things! Good for you. I have been on a similar journey and I agree that these skills have skipped a generation. My mother worked a lot. Thankfully the Lord pulled me out of working as a nurse and brought me to be a stay-at-home mom. Or I would have ended up doing the same thing I feel. We have 4 kids and We live on an acreage In Alberta, I have wanted to learn to sew and do all the homemaking things too. We just have to take it Line upon line, precept upon precept. Praise the Lord for what He has done!

suggestions: make sure not to bang canner with metal and not to use metal scrubbing on it, keep it dry, and away from getting knocked there are cute little weather stations you can set up in your yard and get kids to observe and record from them for soil for vegetables, make sure it is light and aerated, maybe add a little sand

I cannot wait till I move and I have a space I can do flowers and a garden. I live in a apartment building. ? That spice rack that is on your fridge, do you have a link for that? I have zero storage and that would come in handy. And then wondering, have you done a video of what are the things you actually need to first start home schooling? Next year I am going to start homeschool my daughter. She will be on 1st grade and between all of the bad things going on at the schools, the bullying etc, it'll just be better. But wondering what should I start with.

That’s awesome that you’re starting canning and gardening more and stuff like that! I’d love to be able to learn all this. I need to learn how to grow anything at all first haha
