As a professional, I suggest that you carefully review the video by adjusting the playback speed in the KZbin settings. This will allow you to observe how layers are managed for animation. You can then replicate these steps in your own work.

Nice video! On the end is confusing coz u didnt show what is the foreground and background and how u merge the leaves on every droplets.

It's very easy to create a new layer and make a redline, now move that layer in the foreground as a reference layer so that every time you create a new drop you can have that reflects of red lines.

Click the gear icon, then choose Playback Speed to slow it down. That's tremendously helpful for me to catch things that happen too quickly during standard playback.
