Great helpful videos , how do you get good even placements?
@Original-Werks Жыл бұрын
Not sure if this is what you are asking me, here are two ways to place objects. 1) You can select an object then - use the Gizmo Tool Menu > Settings - Gizmo (Menu at top with Gizmo Icon) > Matrix: (your selected object) > Translation boxes to move object precisely. 2) Open Scene Menu > Select object > Click +Add... > Repeaters > Array (Best for adding multiples in all three axis evenly) Hope This helps!

@@Original-Werks that helps I’m just use to thing like solid woks and fusion 360 where you do everything in inches or mm
@Original-Werks Жыл бұрын
Just helpful FYI, Nomad is in mm. The cube primitive is 1mm. I have tested the sizing from Tinkercad to Nomad and it imports at the same mm dimensions. I have not tried to import from Fusion 360, but I am sure that it would be fine.

How do you do the solo thing
@Original-Werks2 ай бұрын
At the bottom of your app there will be an icon that says SOLO. If it is not there go to the top menu bar and click on the three sliders for the interface. It is the one in between the gear and Nomad icon in the corner. Then click on INTERFACE, and you can add SOLO to the shortcuts bar. Hope this answers your question.

@Original-Werks2 жыл бұрын
I am beta testing version 1.66. The menus are in the same locations, they just have different icons now for scene menu has only three boxes connected and topology menu looks like a 20d or icosahedron.

Interesting. I got influenced by a guy making highly accurate Michael myers masks on nomad. I’m working on my own project that requires a unique shape like a cubed rectangle. I need to study mask tool

how do I "invalidate" the mesh. I am so lost
@Original-Werks Жыл бұрын
Backing up in steps is the only way to invalidate. So you can use two fingers on the screen and tap several times to reverse what you just did or at the bottom of your screen there should be two curved arrows. You can tap the left one to go back, it will normally have a large number assigned to it. Lastly there is a book icon next to the arrows tap on it, scroll down until you see the line that says validate, tap on the action before it and perform a different action, you should see the validate option checkbox pop up at the top of the screen. Hope this helps and does not confuse you more. Nomad Sculpt has several ways to do just about anything. The book icon is probably the fastest if you have a specific operation you want to go back to. As you tap the lines in the stack, you will see the operation happen on the screen again. Good luck and have fun sculpting!
