I own a himalayan 452, done about 3.3k kms. My best friend owns an interceptor which he got when it was launched. I have used that interceptor quite a lot. Before I got the Himalayan I used to own a Mojo. I went for the Himalayan because of it’s suspension and other bits. The engine, while it has performance, is not very refined. Vibey and clattery, on the other hand the engine on the inerceptor is super smooth being a twin and sounds beautiful. My question is, how is Abhishek adjusting to this aspect especially coming from interceptor. I can already hear clatter of the engine in the video.

Most of the clattering is not engine related but chain. Engine is good and being a box engine with high displacement will have vibes and a bit more sound. You get almost the same hp and torque cause of this type of box engine. They didn't go for long stroke cause it would have less hp cause of low rpm and they didn't go for short stroke cause of high hp and low torque. It is the middle ground and there will be some takeaways.
