Mine's stock, and I can't say it ever wallows or feels floaty! Got to be the best A to B car available at the moment.

he probably doesnt have dynamic suspension, some of them come out run flats, no adaptive suspension and a speed limiter much higher than 130mph. the dynamic has magride and definately doesnt feel floaty or wobbly. my 2023 with adaptive drive in sport plus is stiff and planted.

Everything is relative. Depends on what you are use to driving. I've been driving a lowered/stiffened Miata on the weekends for the last 2 years and I'm thinking about getting a M240I X. Test drove one for the first time 2 days ago. Knew it wouldn't compare, but massively disappointed in the handling/feel. Looking at videos like this to see what can be done about it. All I know is that in stock form this thing wouldn't come close to hanging with my 185HP Miata though the canyons and twisties.

@@62Sketchwas it a loaded one? Friend has a base and mine is performance/track package and I assure you he's quite upset with the difference. If you can afford, I'd check a loaded one and adding strut tower braces

@@A_Guy123 No, it was base with 225 run flats on front and back. Can't believe they are selling a 3800 lb car with 225s. My Miata is 2300 lbs with 215s. PS4S 215s at that. It was the only M240 they had at the dealership. I went to different dealership since then and they had a M240i RWD with 225/255 non run flats, and I will say it handled much better. I'm sure the tires help a lot, but also wondering how much RWD plays into also. I may be leaning more now to the RWD just for better feel. Really need to find a dealership with a XDrive and a RWD with the performance tires to compare back to back, but base run flat 225s is a absolute no go.

@@62Sketch if you get a rwd m240 I'd get a used m2 and go 6 speed at that point. If I didn't need AWD I would've gone that route

Are those carbon interior parts all just for the steering wheel only ? I see the steering wheel trim and the paddles just wondering what the larger curved pieces are for…..looks like for the back of steering wheel maybe ?

The steering trim consists of the trim around the air bag and centre piece. Which curved bits are you referring to?

@@AUTOIDTV thanks for the reply. You flashed a screenshot during the video of the item which consisted of 5 pieces I think. The paddles (2) The steering wheel trim (1) And then there are the other 2 curved pieces I’m wondering what that is for. Also since we are talking interior trim….have you done any other videos on the other trims on the dash, center console, and doors ?

Eventuri is overpriced. You get the same sound in a $450 Dinan intake and I doubt any performance difference.

@@M2atom I cant speak for the quality of either (haven’t had them in my hands), but I’ve heard both and we know intakes on this car aren’t making much more HP. Ill save the $1k and go Dinan.

I believe they swapped covers with a Supra, same B58 engine.

New M240i (RWD) owner here. Quick questions: 1. Did the exhaust trigger a CEL without a tune? 2. Are you able to use the JB4 on the new encrypted Bosch ECUs? 3. Any issues with scraping driveways and speed bumps with the springs and lip kit? Thanks and cheers fellas.

M240i xdrive owner. If you remove the cats of GPF, yes, you will get a CEL. JB4 does not work with these ECU's unless you get the ECU unlocked by shipping it to Europe. and with 20mm drop (they did 30/35), I have only scraped the front lip once, just make sure to take everything at an angle and you should be fine.

@@miked9482That is 100% wrong. JB4 is a piggy back tune it does not write anything to the ECU. It works great on the G42. I have one on my G42 and it makes a huge difference.
