I'm so glad I found you and your knowledge about Feng Shui. I started working with the Flying Stars 3 years ago and I try to understand how to influence the flow of energy without having to buy too much exceptional objects. We have an all over frosted glass front door in the east with a brown metal frame. So I jumped out in the dark after I watched your video, cleaned the two stairs and placed two corniferes - one at each side of the door.. Let the energy flow💫 Now I'm looking for a new place for the sandstone flame which had to be moved aside. Maybe it needs a place in the south. Thank you for sharing your knowledge🐉

Looked this up for the home I am buying (first time) with a white door currently. Yellow and green were in my front runners and it just so happens that the home is facing SW! Going to pull some paint swatches.

Yellow is better for the SW than green. Green color is Wood Element and Wood is not a harmonious color for the SW where we want to strengthen Earth Element :)

I love the orange door. It ties with the turquoise door. Coincidencely, these are the main colors of my decor inside my home. My door faces directly East. Salutations with sunrise!🏜 Currently my door is a beige color with a brown security screen door. I can add color as you suggested with flowers, a wreath and mat. My question is, how would placing a water feature be? Would that satisfy my Feng Shui at the entrance too? Thank you. 😉👍❤

The Elements of the west are Metal and Earth. The colors that correspond to these Elements are white, gray and yellow which are not the best colors for the front door. I would use the color that you love and that goes well with the rest of the exterior and add Metal or Earth in accessories around the front door or in the west part of the Bagua.

Our house is TUDOR stucco tan, wood floors and we plan to expose the brick 🧱 next year. Currently covered ;( a lot of green planters and black wrought iron hand railings.

The Only Color you stated for the East is Dark Green., Is this correct ? If you have a Wood Dooe with glass - is it appropriate to place a Dark Green Rug or Green Plants on the side of the front door? Does the New Lunar Year Wood Dragon affect what color for a EAST FACING FRONT DOOR ? Thank you.

In addition to dark green I also mentioned blue color for the east door. If you have a wood door, it is the Wood Element which is the Element of the East. But if you want to add green plants and green rug you can do so. For the annual energy adjustments you don't change the color of the door, but add appropriate items to strengthen the positive energy and diminish negative influence. You can find this information is my 2024 Flying Star video.

Im very confused. Is the direction of the door from outside looking in, or vice versa? I have an apartment and can only change what is around the door. From the outside looking in, I face east, from the inside looking out, I face west. So which direction is my door in? My apartment is set straight on the compass. The front door to the building faces north and it is dark cranberry red. The buiding is a red brick. Going up the stairs, my door is on the right and when faced, I look east. The direction of the front door is determined by overlaying a Bagua map on the floor plan. I am creating a video about it so stayed tuned, it will answer your question in a great detail. In a meantime, if you would stand in the center of your apartment with a compass in your hands aligning its needle with the north, look in which direction your front door is. It sounds like your door is in the west part, but depending on a shape of your apartment it can also be southwest or northwest.

Hiya, I have a house that has a front door facing Southeast. Everywhere I read says it’s the wood element and that I should avoid red and use green or brown for example. But you mentioned it can be painted with red, as that is the colour I’d prefer. Why is that?

Good question. I know it is a bit contradictive but here is the reasoning behind it. . The Elements of SE are Wood and Water. So greens and blues are good choices. But in traditional Chinese Feng Shui purple is the color of prosperity. It energizes and uplifts energy better than green or blue. Purple is Fire. Red is close to purple. It sticks out. This is why it can be used in the SE as well. There are many shades in between purple and red. Use the shade that you love the most. As for brown, it is not a good choice in the SE.

Hmmm, it looks like you have to choose between what you like and what Feng Shui suggests. That's a tough choice. I would probably choose the color that would make you happy and goes well with the exterior. You can support prosperity and health aspects (Wood and Water Elements) by adding green plants around your front door and dark blue door mat.

In the video I mentioned the appropriate colors for the SW doors are red, pink, orange or yellow. You can choose one among these colors, whichever one goes best with your house's siding color and most importantly which one you like.

So...since I replaced my garage door with a mahogany colored door which goes well with the roof, my front door look awful. The siding is medium light gray. The door us set in 10 feet. I have painted the door to look like drift wood. Nit everyone's taste. It was drab looking. So put royal blue rug with a runner leading to the door. There are chairs with cozy afghans and a blue chest with a blue and white lamp which is on all the time. Plus a basket with orange pillows. And a couple plants. It turned out to be fun and inviting. Would that work for an east facing door?

How do the colours and compass directions work in the Southern Hemisphere? Is it the same as the Northern Hemisphere or are they all reversed (e.g. red= south becoming red= north in the Southern Hemisphere)?

I love your videos thank you it’s a beautiful day today in the Midwest of Minneapolis Minnesota. We had record warm weathers yesterday 80°. I think it was actually 82°F and everything blooming all around as colors, red sack and bright people leaves of oranges and red, and my husband, and I and my friend went for almost a three hour hike in his spiritual Šamanić journey walk, and we did a gratitude walk and we went and did some offering And just gratitude grateful for some things here I realize today as I just got done working 5 PM that it’s another 80° day and I thought you have so many other things to do, but I should find a day in the next couple weeks to take my front door off and paint it because it has some wood rock and it Curve rounded top door. The top part of my door is curved and my house is a tutor my Door 🚪 team and we’ve lived there for eight years now pink red yeah not that very bright red that I like, but according your chart since my house is in the sunset directly viewing the sunsetin the west I need it yellow I think I’m OK with yellow. 🟡🔆💛💛💛
