I think the Plague Bearer is influenced by Primal: Plague of Madness where the long neck gets infected by a horrific disease and does some horrific stuff. I mean he has the same red and yellow eyes, the map he was found in was where he was killed in the episode by being physically destroyed by the lava, and the fact he puked his own blood which is what he did in the episode as well
