15:00 Actually the accurate translation of Titus 1:5 is "For this cause I left thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and shouldest ordain priests in every city, as I also appointed thee:" Ready the early Church fathers. The Church Jesus established had leaders of varying positions; priests, bishops, pope.

Where in Acts 1 is it written that Judas was a diakonos and episcopos? He was an apostle, yes... But the other two... Can't see it in the text.

Hi - Im not a Greek Scholar but I have reached out to someone who is to see if they can confirm / verify whether these three Greek words are listed or implied? What I observe vs 16 served as "a guide" - Diakonos - practical help ? vs 17 one of our number and shared in our vision ? vs 18 with the monies he received - He was the treasurer John 12:6 but thats not Acts 1 vs 19 take his place as a leadership - Episkapos ? vs 25 apostolic Ministry - Apostolos? I will respond further when I get feedback
@DavidPawsonMinistry
@DavidPawsonMinistry Ай бұрын
I can confirm the three Greek words are present in Acts Chapter 1 In Acts 1:20 “ ‘May another take his place of leadership.’ (episkopos) In Acts 1:17 He was one of our number and shared in our ministry.” (diakonos) In Acts 1:25 to take over this apostolic (apostolos) ministry,(diakonos) which Judas left to go where he belongs.”

Ive read the Gospels, and never Jesus ran or chase after people asking them or imploring them to accept and receive His Healing, His Salvation. So why today we chase and about forcing and stuffing Jesus on people who repeatedly refuse Him and refuse His authority over them, His healing and His salvation? I am so sick and frustrated to talk about this wonderful Savior just to be answered with mockery, ridicule or sometimes a cold " No thanks I'm good". I just want to go from now on to speak about Jesus and His Kingdom to those who want Him, who are eager to be saved and suffer in misery without Him. Where are those people? Where are the people who are ready for Him?

Jesus gave us instruction Luke 10: 8 “When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is offered to you. 9 Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’ 10 But when you enter a town and are not welcomed, go into its streets and say, 11 ‘Even the dust of your town we wipe from our feet as a warning to you. Yet be sure of this: The kingdom of God has come near.’ 12 I tell you, it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town. Go out and bless others - meet their practical needs - heal the sick ..... Jesus informed us not everyone will welcome us ...... and where we are not welcome - move on to others that will Who is telling you to "chase around and force Jesus on people" ? Follow Jesus example and remember John 1 - 10 10. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. 11He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. 12Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God- 13children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. The reality is not everyone will receive Jesus

Paul was never a trinitarian. Paul was strictly monotheistic. Only one God, the Father alone. He never called Jesus God or regarded the holy spirit as a third separate person.
@DavidPawsonMinistry
@DavidPawsonMinistry 2 жыл бұрын
Being a monotheist is not in conflict with the concept of a Trinity - the Trinity is not 3 Gods but one GOD - Son, Holy Spirit and The Father are inseparable - There is but one GOD and his name is YHWH Paul was a monotheist yet he mentions 3 persons in 2 Corinthians 13,13 (14), “May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all”. The Apostle John was also a monotheist yet he mentions the Son and the Father in John 1 - he also says they were one and the same In the Beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God - He was with GOD in the beginning .....and the Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory - the glory of the one and only Son - the key question is when was the the birth of Jesus ? ....... the Bible tells us HE was there in the beginning - He just became flesh and chose to make His dwelling among us Some believe the Trinity are three very separate beings - its not - the Trinity is a very inadequate way of representing that without question the NT refers to 3 'personas' all referred to as HE - One GOD and his name is YHWH - its not something one can understand - its something to accept, that GOD became flesh and made his dwelling among us - to pay the price for our sins - to die in our place on the cross - Jesus was not created in a Manger in Bethlehem - he was their in the very Beginning , just as He was not overcome by death at Calvary, He overcame death through his resurrection 3 days after his crucifixion

@@DavidPawsonMinistry nonsense. These explanations are traditions of men. Made up by theologians influenced by greek philosophy. Forced on the believers during the councils of Nicea and Chalcedon in the fourth century AD. God is not a trinity. That concept comes from Plato and later Philo of Alexandria. God is one, the Father alone. Not three persons in one essence. That is a false image of God, and therefore idolatry. It is the golden calf of christianity set up 1700 years ago.. God manifested himself through flesh, through a man he uniquely created for that purpose. God did not become a man. And the holy spirit is simply the spirit of Jesus and the Father, not a third person. It is the personal power and presence of the Father and Son in us to overcome sin and death.

@@bardowesselius4121 God is multi layered (trinity) yet one God, the trinity testifies your own personal journey, where when you experience your own revelation, the trinity will be extremely clear to you, until the holy spirit lives within YOU, your coporial mind is incapable of comprehending the trinity, hence why people many people cannot understand, you have to experience and be part of the trinity to develop the wisdom of the mystery. Not antagonising, just provided further insight 💖
@bardowesselius4121

@@missbowlifewithlaura8316 with all respect, God is not a Trinity. God is one, the Father alone. Jesus is His image and Son, not God Almighty himself. And the spirit is God's nature. It is what God is. Simply put, it is God's power and presence. That power led Jesus to the victory to overcome sin and death. And through the death and resurrection of Jesus, that same power and anointing is available to us to overcome. The trinity doctrine blinds believers from this truth, thinking they cannot follow Jesus and overcome as well. Staying in sin all their lives. The right concept of God is extremely important, otherwise we cannot overcome sin like Jesus did. If Jesus is God Almighty we can never overcome. Jesus is God's Christ, our example to follow. That is why we need his sacrifice, his faith and anointing.
